if they wouldve just made the fishing rod instead of 2 different swords...

 

As cool as the sword and shield is it's not quite what he had in the 86' movie. I wish they would have made it a bit more accurate to that. But hey, it's honestly better than nothing.

Also, I'd love to see Daniel's Rocket Board get made.

I mean, there's plenty of featured angles. It's an easy money grab accessory in the making.

That gun looks absolutely awesome! Usually I don\'t really care for Hot Rod having a gun since he\'s already got those ones built into his wrists but I just can\'t get over how awesome that gun looks so I just *have* to have it. Too bad they didn\'t make a second one which can fit over the welder, or just have them fit over the fists instead, I\'d love to have my Hot Rod dual wielding them.

Also, isn\'t that the gun he had in the Prime Wars trilogy? It looks familiar and that\'d the only Hot Rod I know which had a flip-out blaster.

 

I feel like the sword should be slightly longer

 

Interesting but....why? The lightsaber isn't right, it should have a dark grayish handle, maybe blue tinged but definitely not bright blue like that, and the blade should be more orangeish. The shield is the wrong color too, should have a dark border like the saber handle, and a yellow center, or at least a much deeper gold, and it seems too small


The blaster is a cool design but looks out of place and not very g1. Is the design based off of anything in fiction?

As for the gladius, same issue as the blaster. What's it based on? It looks out of place with the g1 figure

Edit: I suppose the gladius is the Sword of Primus, but we're getting one of those with Rodimus, this design isn't super accurate, and it's too small for this Hot Rod, it would look awful with Rodimus


Overall this set just feels really pointless to me

 

Can't someone just upscale the SS to MP size now? I dont want the MP or hoodlum tbh.

The blaster is actually from the Prime Wars trilogy cartoon. It's actually pretty accurate in design but it wasn't completely silver in the cartoon.

 

Cool. Shield and lightsaber are alright. Gun is interesting.

 

These look pretty cool, especially dig how they rendered the Primus sword.

That's what has been bothering me about this. Wish this was more accurate (and that there was a way to store it in vehicle and robot modes).

 

the blaster is interesting kinda wish he could hold it like a regular gun so i can just give it to rodimus unicronus.

the gladiator sword is kinda cool too but i know nothing about the source material for it. i should probably dig into it. might been a cool thing to have if i like it's lore.

don't really care about the training sword and shield from that quick scene in the movie though.

 

"Sword" of Primus? That's not a sword, that looks more like a large knife or dagger.

 

sword of Primus looks more like a Roman or Greek sword of old.

 

I hope, that DNA Design will make a truck trailer to make figure to look like Rodimus Prime.

 

Why? There's already a Rodimus Prime coming.
