Honestly, the torso pull wasn't as scary or difficult as people made it out to be. Maybe it was just my copy, but all I had to do was to use the arms as leverage and it slid up really easily.

 

Got the new ring a day or two ago, I haven't transform Unicron into planet yet to see how they look there for myself. It didn't dawn on me until putting them on that the wings are bigger than the original ones (which is a plus for me), also I didn't realize the new ring in wing mode? peg and remain spread out on their own until I got them inhand.

 

Ok... I gotta buy another set of these now because the larger wings are so much better for bot mode I have to keep him this way... Wing tips or no.

 

Im keeping Studio Cell in robot mode and my Haslab in planet mode.

Just got the wing upgrade too. I think it really enhances the robot's silhouette and presence. Like many of us Cellers I've ribbed the Haslabbers for their paneley robot. However, I think Bobby Skullface made a good point, that it's not about BETTER or WORSE but what FITS in your collection. He thinks the Haslab fits perfectly in his display, and I agree. But my collection's different. I wouldn't have the space for the Haslab one, nor would I be able to appreciate its details from the height at which I'd want display it. Plus it wouldn't fit the G1 aesthetic I'm going for. I've had Cell for almost a year and it gives me a so much pleasure every time I look at it. I sincerely hope all Unicroners enjoy their toys as much as me

Theres a lot that I like about both and some dislikes I have for both. Haslabs Unicron, I think, is just a little better in planet mode. I'm saying this because with Cells upgraded wings, it made it look tremendously better. The robot mode by far goes to cell in my opinion. But, cell is too small for such an imposing character like Unicron. I bought both, still waiting for my Haslab. I will display them according to their strengths.

The outer ring is too wide to fit through the slot.

The biggest problem i have with Haslab version is that you have to take out the unicron head when transforming into planet. Period.

 

Wait, what? That's pretty shitty if true.

 

I thought you could leave the head on?

My biggest problem with the Haslab is that it's a $600 shellformer. The planet doesn't turn into a robot at all; they're almost completely separate.
