According to a blogger, actor Anthony Ramos has stated the Bumblebee sequel begins principal photography in two weeks!

 

Also, equally important news with that tweet: producers are speaking to him about returning for future films. Thank god they actually seem to planning this new franchise out in advanced (at least, I hope so).

I wonder if Anthony Ramos will promote a song with Transformers 7, like Hailee Steinfield did with her song in Bumblebee?

 

Personally, I still think it would be cool if each installment in this series had a different human cast. Let the robots be the connective tissue, and let them encounter new human companions each time. The fact of the matter is that human characters are probably still going to get a lot of focus, but using a different cast each time would help mitigate the effects of that. It would make the overall series feel more like the Transformers' story when looked at from a birds-eye view. Obviously my opinions on this could change if Anthony Ramos' character is great.

I do think seeing cameos by past characters would be cool. Like, I was thinking earlier that I'd enjoy seeing Charlie encounter Bumblebee again, and be able to have a proper conversation with him this time (provided they fix his voice). That would be a cool interaction. I don't think I'd want Charlie as a lead again though, her story feels complete.

 

I really hope that rumor about him being a soldier is true, because we’ve already seen the whole teenager/young adult meets the transformers trope done to death.
