Turns out I’ve got quite a few MP/3P collector cards.... Even when I’ve sold stuff I’ve always kept the card so this is pretty much a record of every MP/3P I’ve ever had.

I always liked how Milne did the altmodes in MTMTE/LL, especially things like how Cyclonus' alt mode took a lot of cues from UAV Drones and the like so didn't have a cockpit etc like you say. Also as you say TBH my interest in TF these days is on Transformation as a cool ability over the disguise aspect. It's why I don't really care if the toys have bits of the robot mode visible in altmode like Siegehide's feet for example.

Yes, fans of the Marvel comics, I finally got around to finishing TR Carnivac (specifically from the OSKO, for the click-shy here). I was pretty disappointed when we were briefly teased with the possibility of him, before that was cruelly snatched away and so... many months later... I renewed my custom, with a short stint in the dye bath (which had a limited but useful effect).

Aye, I know what you mean. Doing sales over the last month has really put it into perspective for me. Kind of easy to ignore the value if you just look at them on a shelf. Put a value against a few figures and suddenly you start looking at the rest and realising what you’ve spent...

I got a box of Maltesers Truffles from the folks 'cos great big eggs are a bit too risky with my blood sugar.....if I have a truffle every time Fred gives the ball away in the United game later the box will be empty after roughly 10 minutes.

If I did a drinking game for the same thing I'd have alcohol poisoning by half time  

A few minutes ago Oreo ferret zipped up the stairs at full speed for the first time in a couple of weeks, soooo happy to see that     

Watched Ben's review of the first MP Barneytron KO to see where the battery compartment on the dino head is and also so I could watch the transformation carefully. Think I'll watch it a couple more times before attempting it.

I put Kingdom Dinobot, Rattrap and Airazor together on a Detolf shelf and they look really nice, I tried putting LGEX Rhinox with them but as nice as the figure is overall, it's lacking in ease of posability in robot mode, it always feels like I'm battling the figure so if there's a new one that does the robot mode better I can keep the T30 & LGEX ones for rhino mode which is still fantastic for a main line figure.

I'm also looking forward to Terrorsaur as the only Predacons I have are LG Waspinator, a vintage Quickstrike and that LG Blackarachnia that was made from the Animated mould which has always looked a bit off so I'll wait and see whether Pulse Fest reveals a repaint of the Kingdom mould with better colours.

 

I think I still have a cheap KO Alternators Mirage. Light plastic and a dodgy head and sword. Not the best TBH. Hunt down the original.
I can dig him out and snap a couple of photos if you want?  

I've also started work on my '86 Movie/Combiner Wars Kup!  

Tried dying a CBB green Swindle different shades of blue but came out more Racing Green TBH! Darker than Hasbro Hound though, so dyed his grey parts teal and a grey CBB Groove gun teal then bashed a Hasbro Generations Kup head on which works fine for my needs.  

 

Looks great.

I have the name for the combiner Kup. You can call him Kulk! Original huh ;-)

 

It's apparently going to snow tonight. That's a good excuse to not leave the house!

I've been fiddling with Huffer some more, and he has so much personality. A real surprise favourite. Dinobot... I still can't get past the back in dino mode. Not a bad toy by any means, but could be better.

Now to try and find somewhere that has SS Scourge in stock...

Did anyone else order all of SS86 from IDT? They were sold out of preorders for Hot Rod so I got him elsewhere, but I ordered the rest of the wave from them and I'm still waiting on them getting Scourge in to have them shipped out.. Feels like I've been waiting an eternity..
