They should take a page from Shatter´s design, it is possible to have a fembot look feminine while still using vehicle parts effectively rather than making a design look too human and then tack on altmode parts

My Mom’s family is all second and third generation, and they’re all 5’4”-6”. Men and women, the exact same height. When we went over to meet our family on the other side, we were surprised to find a pretty healthy range of heights. Great Grandad was just short lol

 

Any Transformers movie would have to have a human cast for the mere fact that making giant robots look giant without contrasting human characters is frankly impossible, combined with the fact that "two hours of full robot screentime" would recquire a movie with a huge god damn budget.

 

Impossible? So I guess scenery such as trees and rock structures don’t exist…

 

I think the scale looks the best with the humans interacting with the Transformers.

 

While they exist they are entirely weak at make that fact genuinely visceral and felt in a truly impactful manner. "Oh he is standing next to a thing that I know exists" is meaningless, no one ever praises the "great scale contrast" of Megazords walking around playsets in old Power Rangers episodes. Along with the fact that transformers are big but theyre not "gargantuan" big. Bumblebee will not be significantly bigger than your average mountain, yet, you will get his scale instantly felt when he is stomping around a fleshy fragile human.

Plus it's not just about the visual, but about the story and theme itself. They turn into cars that resemble our everyday vehicles and hide among them, that is their entire visual identity, you lose that completely without humanity being there, you lose other big aspects of transformers stories such as being far from home or the fact Autobots are trying their best to make sure their war does not ruin another world, theres various aspects of the average Transformers mythology that need that contact with humanity to work.

 

Well i think they can be more than meets the eye without being robots in disguise

 

So how many movies are we getting again?

 

1. Bumblebee sequel/Beast alliance. directed by Steven caple jr. (creed2) written by joby Harold (IDK what he’s worked on) It’s the one we’re getting first

2. The animated cybertron prequel directed by josh Cooley (toy story 4) and written by one of the ant man writers according to @MacFormer97 it’s the one that’s further in development.

3. This one. Directed by Angel Manuel Soto and written by daredevil writer
