Huh. I haven't opened mine yet, and am not hugely fond of the mold to begin with. I'm also tempted.

 

If either of you are serious, I'd appreciate a good deal on a set... I don't scalp or price gouge figures I buy at original cost, and I usually buy 2 and help out others down the road... I missed the boat on the coneheads.

Hopefully they'll be available later through other outlets, the way the Thundercracker/Skywarp set is being rereleased.

 

Now my hopes are up even higher than before for conehead reissues, they better do it

 

I don't think Amazon exclusives ever get reissued, especially not outside of Amazon.

 

Siege Skywarp got / is getting (I've lost track of the date involved) a release through Takara in Japan. Still no good to the rest of the world, but still ever so slightly better than never.

But yes, I'd bet on never seeing the Coneheads anywhere else.

That's a different country where the contact with Amazon likely doesn't apply. It's also a web shop exclusive release direct through Takara.

I pray they do it. I’m this close to caving and buying Ramjet and Dirge on eBay. But I don’t want to spend like $300-400 on them. Seriously.

 

It won't hurt to wait several more weeks to see if the set gets offered on Hasbropulse.com before you buy Ramjet/Dirge on eBay. The average purchased price for Ramjet/Dirge on has been steady for last couple months on eBay at around $280 USD for completed/sold auctions.

In March when Hasbro Pulse announced they would start offering 5% stock inventory items for sale on hasbropulse.com of their exclusive partners, they put up for sale several of the amazon exclusive Galactic Odyssey sets. Even some harder to find Walmart exclusive transformers items like Netflix Soundwave was recently offered for sale in March and Netflix Soundwave came out around November last year.

 

So far they've only put up exclusives that have been relatively easy to find compared to the big 3 (Ironhide/Prowl, Coneheads, and Ratchet/Lifeline). The fact that the Barricade/PCP set in particular, which was released after those others, has already made it there makes me doubt that they'll end up on Pulse unless they do another production run specifically for that. Do we know if the Thundercracker/Skywarp restock was another run or just leftovers of the initial one?

 

yeah, I know lots of members are hopeful that hasbropulse will eventually put up the dirge/Ramjet, Ironhide/prowl, or the Ratchet/lifeline sets but I also highly doubt it myself especially when Amazon couldn’t even fulfill all their own pre-orders due to the demand. I got all my preorders with no delays and no issues from Amazon. But since prices for the Coneheads have remained steady this year on eBay, although still expensive - won’t really hurt the guy who really wants the Coneheads to wait a bit more to be 100% sure. Unless he is desperate and want the Coneheads now and can’t wait. I personally think $280 for Dirge/Ramjet is way too expensive but that’s what the market dictate. I probably wouldn’t want pay more than $160 for the set
