Isolated case. FT is unable to do wrong, ever.

 

Shame people have to have paint. He could still look perfectly fine and never chip if people would just let go of their lust for paint.

 

Sold Spindrift 1.0 because he didnt have paint, and now all my other MP / FT are full of that lusty paint!!! Also sold my TE-01 for that very reason... Glad i also sold my FT Pheonix... cause yea, no delicious lusty sparkly paint.

 

Yeah, I’m here for the paint all day, it makes such an huge difference. MP44 versus the nemesis Prime, the lack of paint almost always looks cheaper, but I don’t mind so much on Phoenix.

 

I would rather have a figure that's glorious for 5 years, then one that would not fade forever. Yes I realize that there should not be paint scratches right out of the gate, but then we've seen that before with other FT figures right? Like sometimes they would ship a figure without making sure that the paint is completely dry.

 

Ok, so first XTB fu***d up with their Kup and now FT is doing almost the same thing with their Seaspray...Is that what this is? Well great. This year 2021 looks fu****g AWESOME so far!    

 

Lmao. I was actually told that seriously on FH Armada Primes thread after multiple incidents were already reported.

 

...wait, what? In what way does this Seaspray situation resemble XTB's Kup situation?

 

One random copy posted on Chinese social media had some paint chipping, CLEARLY THE WHOLE PRODUCT RUN IS GARBAGE.

Wow, TFS Express just told me I have to pay another $45 for DHL to get it into the UK!

They've also given me the option... cancel my order, great.

I've asked Adam at TFS what other options there are.

 

It was up for order on their UK site (shipped from the UK so no extra shipping charges) for months. The pre-order stock only ran out recently. Did you miss it? Or do you usually order from their site that ships from China?

 

Hah, it was a joke. I was only saying that this will be a hell of a year, if new releases keep this route. First we saw a new release from XTB (Locke) and boom...defects all over. And now, if this Spindrift 2.0 would have defects also, then the beginning of this year doesn't sound good.

They changed so TFS-Express is China stock only for new orders. It used to offer choice of ship from China or ship from UK.

Omegalock is for UK orders now.

But... Spindrift v2 never went on omegalock.

Please keep us informed, it was said that existing pre orders wouldn't be affected, so unless you picked 'ship from China' originally, they should be honouring the UK postage etc

 

The sheer mention of DHL implies shipping from the Chinese site, as does the USD currency for a UK person. It also means it cost about 20 quid less for the figure initially, so it's a similar overall cost for a buyer generally. If you go that route, and the shipping goes up (there was a pandemic on when TFS-Express pre orders went up, so it's a gamble as to what might happen for shipping costs), that's just the way it is.

If you wanted a fixed price and shipping, the uk site was the place to order from. I even went for the second batch, so my total cost was 65 quid all in.

Edit: I also expect DHL have confirmed that no vat was charged up front, and about 25 dollars of that is represented by vat plus an admin fee to clear it through customs for him. Strictly, DHL shouldn't have confirmed either way, because it was likely a pre January order. Regardless, it's likely been caught by customs.

 

I missed out on the second batch after it sitting there for months, should of just ordered it at the time lol
