Slightly off topic I wonder if DOTM Sideswipe and DOTM Dino will rerelease in the Buzzworthy line since they fought alongside Bumblebee against the Dreads.

 

Ah! I see it now that you mention it. That's MP level detail having the cap overlap the fender and crazy attention to detail for a main line release.

All the folks that have said the engineering doesn't warrant the higher cost need to give these new images a close inspection. Rodders is most definitely more than a simple Leader Class figure in a bigger box.

Umm don’t know what your looking at because it’s the same size as Optimus then yes it’s a voyager with commander size class

 

I'm pretty sure their will be a second run eventually. The way things are these days it wouldn't make any business sense to have put all that effort time and tooling dollars into this thing, offer it only once and call it a day. Hasbro surely knows there's a lot of fans out there now that are like "Oh sh*t I want that now!" so, again, just a bit of time and I'm sure we'll get another crack at him.

 

Rodimus is everything I could have hoped for and more! And he's an even better car-carrier than his Uncle Magnus, lol. As for MP Skids, that's great that they're going back to the more hybrid style that they started with, but at this point it's too little too late for me; the line is just too expensive, and now that we've got what is essentially MP-Mini, I'm good.

 

Gosh dang, I am SO STOKED for everything in this issue. Rodimus looks fantastic, my boy Skids gets a new toy that's both officially licensed by Honda AND looks better than XTB Savant, even if I'm typically a "toon style" kinda guy, and everything about Transformers rules right now.

 

Rodimus looks really good in these pictures. Can't wait for him. And forget Unicron FedEx has had mine on the truck for delivery for 2 days now and nothing. I give up.

 

I'm not sold on Rodimus yet. He looks great, but 75$ for a Voyager+? Not convinced I can justify that in my mind. Have to wait and see the reviews, not a pre-order for me at that price.

 

Still waiting for that pre order mp skids and diacolone.. Totally awesome that it's Honda.

 

The sculpt is not there yet. I'd prefer an upscaled car mode with gimmick to adjust yellow fin so when you slide in the trailer it looks accurate. Head sculpt is wrong.

I'll wait for the next version you know they will revisit it in the next 2 years and perfect it. Just as they've done with the Optimus mold.

 

I'm not asking them to do anything. Just wondering aloud since it seemed weird at first that page space would be dedicated to something akin to a lucky draw. Then again, in hindsight they'd probably show off a lucky draw figure in the same manner, usually years or even a decade after the fact as something neat to know about or look at.

 

You'd think Takara would put Unicron in a more dynamic pose to show off his articulation, since they usually had the better promo/stock images of toys for the longest time...but eh, I guess they serve their purpose.

Yes he's the same size as a Voyager, like he should be. I was just making sure you weren't one of these oblivious people that thought that because he's Voyager height that they're ripping us off by charging Commander price, despite the figure taking advantage of the bigger budget.

 

A figure's height does not determine its size class. Its size determines its size class.
