I’m really interested to see if these new 6” figures will differ in articulation. Hopefully differ for the better.

If they’re fully articulated and he somehow can get Jack Nicholson to sign off, I’m totally down for 89 Batman, Joker, Bob the goon and the transforming Bat missle Batmobile from Returns. Also Penguin and Catwoman.

 

What does retro mean for a character that's almost 90 years old? Like, Hanna Barbera style blue Batman? Tim Sale Batman? Detective Comics #27 Batman?

 

Retro probably means more so in the figure not the design. Like retro figure articulation and sculpt.

 

I got the feeling it was more for the year(“66” next to the listings so 1966 Adam West Batman).

 

I wonder if it will differ too. If it is anything under the ML standard then Todd lost me.

Bob would be a grail figure for me.

I would hope so, I'd be super interested in Todd's take on #27 Batman.

 

Thats possible but then why different size? Will it have the same articulation as the standard figures?

like heres my thought on it so i dont come off as confusing. When Bandai of america had the Power Rangers license, they were making 2 different figures. The legacy figures with a lot of articulation and the 5in line with very basic articulation. That 5in line is kinda where im leaning. Can i be wrong? Of course and honestly not gonna argue it cuz who knows what it will turn out to be.

also id totally buy a 66 batman. 66 means its the movie most likely which technically isnt much different than the 64 show but maybe its a small piece of the puzzle.

Id they did a rebirth WW with all appropriate accessories, id actually risk preordering from target or walmart.
