Mine's been in Burbank, IL for the last 3 days. They at least scan it every day so I know they haven't lost it. Burbank is about 3 hours away, and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but I'm less sure about that now.

FedEx just informed me my Unicron has been picked up!



I still expect the estimated delivery date of this Thursday to slip, but hey it's moving now!!

 

Well I really hope that's not the case. Mine all said and done was $840. The reason for that, was because my buddy and I put 2 on one order and split it from there. I will dispute if they double dip like that.

 

After reading and watching the YouTube video on how to properly transform Unicron. Makes you wonder what that buffoon did in Update#2 when he was making the instructions . I mean he had 2 of them on the table. I guess he was enjoying the breeze coming off the deck while getting drunk.

I definitely feel like not creating a show-stopping box for this was a mistake. I definitely feel let down that I backed this and then this is the box we got for 6 hundo. It feels so cold and unfun.

 

Mine hasn’t updated since shipping out Wednesday night. Still says delivery tomorrow so we’ll see!

Well looks like I'm getting ghosted again by FedEx. Been out for delivery since 9am. Now 630pm. Dont think it's coming today. My anxiety is through the roof. Why put it on the truck and not deliver it?? FedEx comes to me from 2 hours away, you'd think they wouldn't want to have to carry it back! Beyond frustrating.

Agreed. I was planning to display it in planet mode, but that blue maw is front and center and looks wrong. The other sides of the planet each have a solid orange circle. The maw-side was clearly intended to match. If this was a $100 figure, I'd shrug it off. For $600+ I would have expected Hasbro to be more careful and considerate. It's doubtful I'll ever support another Haslab project again. I decided to send them an email about it, since I figure they pay attention to that more. Although it says my order was canceled, which is odd. Anyone else have that?

 

My UNICRON arrived today. An interesting event happened as I was on my way home. I was driving after work with UNICRON in the front seat of my vehicle listening to SiriusXM the Classics radio channel. The series called Johnny Dollar was on and was investigating a possible theft of a panther. So about half way through the episode a villainous character who was wanting to steal the panther was played by non other than Orson Welles but was thwarted by Johnny Dollar. What a strange coincidence that at that time he would be guest staring on that episode as a villain, as UNICRON is sitting right next to me.

got mine today, had a heart attack when i checked the tracking and it said delivered but i didnt hear a doorbell ring and i wondered if i missed it and had to rescheduele it but turned out the guy just left it at the front door and i didnt need to sign anything

having this guy in hand hes just awesome everythings tight for better or for worse and even though it feels like you might break something you arent scared to, or maybe its the other way around but whatever. with that said everything feels sturdy, im not rly fussed ab colors n stuff now so fuck off, hes poseable enough for what it is, and even tho it took me an hour to transform him to robot mode, once u get used to everything its fine. i havent turned him back into big ball yet but whatever. also thank god the back leg of the stand can be screwed off or else i eouldnt have been able to fit him ontop where i wanted him. hes p solid and i like him, but like what bobby said in his video, whichever one u chose ur probably happy with bc it fits what u want.

 

I'm not certain it was worth quoting a comment from over a month ago to revive this conversation yet again but hey whatever works. I can say that now that I have mine the blue is not terrible. I still look forward to an upgrade kit if one ever happens but if it doesn't it's fine. The thing is a sight to behold and it looks better in person. Even the blue bot mode teeth barely register.

 

Almost like many of us predicted would happen once folks got it in hand.

So, the auction I was watching since last week just ended. Unicron ended up going for $1,525 (that doesn't include the $100 shipping). Most other sellers have taken notice and adjusted their prices accordingly so I don't expect to see any Unicrons below $1500.

 

So a car or a big plastic toy. Decisions, decisions.

So the delivery date has changed to Pending. Someone in Ohio is using it for a coffee table.

 

I dunno how, I don't wanna know how he got thru undetected for hundreds of miles. I'm just relieved that this 2 year journey is nearing it's end.
