Where's the preorders at?

 

I like it, already pre-ordered mine from Kapow (November is quite a wait though!) Looking forward to a fun build, and honestly I don't mind the changes- there's more definition, the wings look better (to my eye) and she looks very graceful.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point Flame Toys takes a stab at kits that can also convert into an alternate mode.

I WOULD be surprised if they finally released that cool looking Hound that was previewed a while ago.

I forgot about that Hound.

I’m wanting a G1 Megatron to go with the G1 Optimus.

 

Samesies. My only issue with the original was the wings. I did like the idea of the bow, but I feel like its too far from the Sarah Stone design. I pretty much got back into TF through that comic, and she's probably my faves character.

On a side note, Beast Wars was my thing as a kid. Wish Primal wasn't Furai Action. Saves me money I guess, so maybe I should be grateful...

 

I've just stuck in a preorder for Windblade with Kapow myself.

 

There's still Big Firebird's Windblade (if that ever gets released) but you'll have to get an accurate headsculpt as well.

So more along the lines of an LED statue with articulation? I can get behind that. Or did you mean a mainline figure with the style of the high-end flame toys stuff?

I believe there was only artwork and/or silhouettes.

Also, if and when it ever releases, it’ll resemble Windblade even less than it already did.


I’m okay with a non-transforming kit. I would have rather had a pre-built + diecast version; but this is all right.

I wonder if some talented people would take commissions on painting/air brushing some of these? The injection mold colors are okay enough, but painted would be icing on the cake.

EX-02 Crimson Princess is not nor will it ever be Windblade.  

She's got an entirely different and all new original design.  

 

Honestly I don't really see how this is all that different from the initial design aside from some color choices, the wings having additional pieces, and the rear getting made more... ahem, proportional. (which, let's be fair, I love Ban as an artist, but that looked ridiculous initially in toy form) I think people are just looking for things to point out to "own the SJW's" honestly speaking, which, come on folks, that's petty. Just be glad all that fuss didn't get the thing shelved entirely.

But I've been looking forward to this, and I love what I see! The head was always my favorite part of the kit, so I want to see whether or not it could fit on the old T30 figure (probably going to look ridiculous though). Normally I do like my Transformers to be transformable, but this works really well for Windblade's design. Also with the ER Arcee mold it's created a little bit of a precedent in my collection where maybe a fembot can just be a cool figure (cough, Elita 1), so won't be all that much out of place honestly.

Also hey, maybe this one will actually be able to stand!

 

I wonder how much of the toy would be painted. Depending on that I might buy it. I suck at painting stuff  

 

God yes. My green jeep homie Hound is always getting sidelined unjustly. They release their take on him and I'll probably buy two of him, maybe even finally get into the rest of this line.

None of it will be painted. It won’t come in grey though - the plastic will be colored more or less correctly. It’ll be like any other Gundam kit etc.

 

I don't know about models, but they're making a transforming/combining Megazord.

Sorry if these are dumb questions, I’ve never built a gundam or anything similar. I see people saying it’s not prepainted but will be colored plastic. For some like me that has so little experience with These kits, will that pre colored plastic be enough for her to look good on display?

I have a Roll from Megaman that is the closest thing I can think of to these sets that just needed assembled and it snapped together. if it’s like that I kinda want this set since we get so little Windblade it seems.
