I recently bought a KO Wonderfest Black Convoy. I decided to modify the smokestack gun to accomodate WFC blast effects. Here's what you need: -super glue -tweezers -small drill bits: I used approx 1.5mm and 3mm -3mm plastic peg: I used scrap sprues from a KO lego set. -metal file -xacto knife 1. First thing to do is mark the center of the gun tips. Using the xacto knife, I scratched a cross. 2. The center of the cross will be drilled. I used the 1.5mm bit first. 3. Then I used the 3mm bit for the proper hole. 4. I did a test fit of the sprue to gauge the depth and fit. You don't want it too deep or too shallow. Feel it. 5. I sliced the sprue, dropped super glue into holes, and using the tweezers, fit the new pegs. It does not matter if the peg lengths are not the same. Focus on a straight installation. 6. After the glue dries, sand the tips with the file. 7. You're done! Add the blast effects and go pew-pew-pew! I really hope the pics upload in the correct order...
