Been a while since I had last watched SFIIV, forgot how smooth the animation was, especially where it really counted (ie. the fights). Really good example of an adaptation that takes some liberties yet still stays true to the spirit of its source material.
I'd love to rewatch that series. I find it funny that it seems like most paid and free streaming services have "Street Fighter II the Animated Movie" available to watch, but there's nothing for SF II V. I don't even think there's been a physical release in NA since the mid 2000s DVDs. On a side-topic, I could love for Capcom to have some of the anime series outfits as dlc costumes for SFV.
Yeah, it's one of those shows that can be pretty hard to find, so you might have to watch it, to quote SNESdrunk, “any way you can”. A reference or two to this series would be nice, if unlikely move. Speaking of unlikely, every once in a while I get this craving for a new Darkstalkers game, though I'm not sure if I'd trust current Capcom with recapturing the series' magic.
I hear you. Even by some miracle they brought in a new Darkstalkers sequel, I have a feeling it might risk being tame compared to it's predecessors. I think the best windows for a full sequel would have been after Street Fighter IV or right after Street Fighter V.
Way back when I first found this, it used to make me imagine how a similar video would be if it was Transformers singing TMBG's "Why Does The Sun Shine?"
