My kids enjoyed the first season s lot. They just started the second and they're pretty thrilled with how it began, so I'm glad they're having fun.

I'm not in love with the animation style of the human characters. They're movements are sort of stunted and wooden. The dinos are definitely the coolest part.

Just binged the second season with my son today and we enjoyed it about as much as the first one. I think my son was most excited by the obvious reveal about Ben also
he literally squealed ADULT BUMPY at one point.
:lol  Overall this is a fun show.

On the movement issue, I've actually noticed that with a lot of the dinosaur's run cycles too... it's like they are floating across the ground in some instances. The Stegos running away from the Baryonxes particularly looked bad this season.

I haven't seen any of this, so forgive me the potential stupidity of this question, but if the first season takes place during the incident with Indominus, how is there a Season 2?

The second season takes place just after the movie. By that point, everyone else has already evacuated the island, but the kids are still marooned there and have to fend for themselves. We have to assume that they were able to get off by the time of Fallen Kingdom.

Just finished season 2 and it was really great. This is a wonderful show and I feel bad I wasn’t already watching it! (Worked out since the next season is soon however) I appreciate how hot they made the characters too, made the earlier episodes more appealing before all the really cool stuff started to happen. Then there’s lots of heart and I have cried a decent amount.

I was hoping that the male hunter would have gotten away and only his wife got eaten since they were really pushing her darker side near the end. Plus she was only the third female to die in JP which is sad.

I knew its name was going to be Scorpius Rex, but seeing it have a sting in its tail got a "I don't know what I expected moment" moment from me.

Like they released Lost in Space Season One on Blu-Ray. Does Netflix have any plans of milking this for those of us who don't stream?

Season 3 is out, and it's 10 episodes instead of 8.

Binged this whole thing yesterday with my son. Overall I really enjoyed it. That said; given the ending, I'm wondering if we'll get another season?

I feel like there's enough space for two more seasons, hell maybe even another 3 depending on how far along they planned or are working on at this moment. As for possible directions, I could see them getting shipwrecked by the Dino in the cabins or the Mosasaur now out in the seas. I don't think there's really any more story to tell on Nublar though, so I could see them getting stranded on Isla Sorna instead, which could potentially tie in with some stuff from Dominion based on what we've seen from the sets/filming.

Yeah Season 3 was pretty good, although I did groan “oh, what now?!” towards the end.

Hopefully Bumpy was among the specimens collected before Mount Sibo went off :(  the Scorpios Rexes were pretty gnarly, it was great to see Blue help fight them off and to see her recognize Darius.

It was interesting to see Wu show a few more sides of his humanity through his interactions with Brooklyn. And also cool to see the events of the opening of Fallen Kingdom, though that means the Mosasaur went 6 months without an official feeding as opposed to a few weeks. Let’s just pretend it’s the latter.

Overall I think this season is a step-up from season 2. Loved all horror moments, I loved the characters growth and their reflection on their friendship
And I also loved ending it all by linking it to Fallen Kingdom by the end, making us feel it is the same universe as the films which is another step-up from season 2 that was very self-contained and isolated from the films.

I wonder if the next season will get delayed to next year since Dominion was originally going to be next month so it'd make sense to have the 4th season right after it but the delay is going to change plans especially with tying the series and Dominion together as stated by Trevorrow in the past.

Yeah Colin did said from the beginning that the opening of FK was always intended to be 6 months, so it was Colin's intent that the poor Mosa was straving for months, then again who's not to say that any wandering sauropod didnt get to drink from water, before the Mosa made a meal out of it

Depends on how relevant Dominion is to season 4, for all we know S4 could be a self contained story that does not require Dominion to be understood, if anything it could fill the 3 year gap between JW/CC and Fallen Kingdom
