Wow thats actually really great! I love the battle damaged paint and weathering they fixed the head sculpt which is good I especially love the alt mode!

I think that deco is definitely not for me. The brighter silver makes him look even less detailed and the “battle damage” just looks like someone sneezed on him haha just my opinion but again thanks for posting.

 

Damn that looks really nice. I did enjoy the pristine and clean deco on Challenger when I had him before, but this one adds another layer of detail that makes him even more visually interesting. I hope they do a matching Dragoon! Thanks for the pics.

Out of the box I was a bit worried about the deco but now I'm used to it I quite like it. The lighter silver is a bit much, might need some paint to break it up a bit, love the transformation though, as enjoyable and sturdy as Peru Kill and La Hire.

 

Dang, in stock at TCP and still no shipping notice from ShowZ. Kind of running out of reasons to shop there anymore.

Man I think they should've used metallic blue and red. I mean they already did it with the destroyer repaints, so why not here. Anyway I think if someone missed out on the first releases of this guy this wont be a bad option, but for the rest of us who already got him, its an easy skip

 

My copy finally arrived today and...well...I'm not whelmed. The "damage" looks like someone took a paintbrush, dipped it in paint and just flicked it at the toy. Seriously, this makes the Siege weathering look good.

I do like the seemingly darker grey used for the hands, though. The super-light grey of the original run looked cheap.

I dunno...not sure I'll keep it. I wasn't amazed by the original release. I only ordered this because I hoped the added paint apps would make it more appealing.

Edit: Oh yeah, the box is beat to shit. The flap has a tear on one side and one corner is ripped up. Not impressed for a brand new figure. Looks like it was a leftover box from an earlier run.

 

It's a shame how mediocre the paint is. I really wanted a Challenger to go with my Peru Kill since I missed out on the og release but I'm not a fan of how it looks.

Sure thing. These are some I took once I opened up the shipping box. The picture doesn't show it well, but the flap is torn along the seam for about 1/3 of its length. And there's actually a small tear in the opposite end that I only just noticed.

 

Yeah, the figure looks ok. Not the amazing repaint we all expected. Too bad tbh. Lets wait and see how TMT's design turns out

 

i did enjoy the battle damaged figure but i added more to help make it pop a little more

Looks much better! I'd keep going if I were you. An ink wash does wonders to this figure.

 

i have been rubbing in gun metal and craming it into the smaller cracks and rubbing it away with a tissue it does help bring out the detail and the lighter silver does help it pop more
