I think I learned about Lift-Ticket's preliminary name from a packaging photo or somesuch by @PoweredConvoy. That name can still be found on Lift-Ticket's individual polybag.

I personally can't recall as it's been a few years but it seems very likely. If you remember me saying it, it was likely the case as the folks doing the design and concept work for that set were filling me in on things like that. His name probably changed throughout the process.

 

I’ve thought that would be a GREAT repaint of the Prowl for a long time and really wish TR would to it! Baring an official repaint, I’d even consider getting a KO with that color scheme.

Back on topic, I think Reboost looks great and will definitely PO. If they decided to include an alternate red head I’d even get two!

 

Thing is the red-headed version should be the same car mode as Skids (with the vent on the hood). I could see that whole version being a convention exclusive one day though (a la MP-12 without the insignia tampos)

Ah, I didn’t think of that... That said, if TT thinks a second red repaint isn’t worth their time, I’d be fine with just an alternate head being sold with Reboost. The correct alt-mode is obviously preferable, but if there’s no other chance, I’ll take what I can get.

 

In that case they might include a sticker sheet to allow you to put the blue stickers on the red car. Not sure if the CR 06 would be a sticker, I guess it could be tampod on the rear and n optional sticker for the front to cover up the C I T Y

but I imagine they’ll save the toy-accurate Skids head for the black repaint.

 

Assuming they will make it, which feels very possible. Likely if Reboost sells well anyway.

 

Burn-Out and Crosscut are shoo-ins. The other red one is the only one in doubt, and I even think they'll do that one. May take a few years, though.

 

If Clampdown and Red Alert can exist simultaneously, so can Reboost and the other red Skids.

 

Yeah, I guess they’ll probably be all released within this decade. Sideswipe certainly got the most of his mould in a similar time frame, and Skids will probably have a few less.

 

I hope so. A lot of people fear the reason we never got Deep Cover is because he's too similar to G2 Sideswipe.

 

Hm, I guess so. But I mean they’re all the same really. There’s nothing that shockingly different between all the versions. Surely they should release one the classic versions.
