Ohmygod, this looks magnificent! I hope you have fun with these. What kind of resin are you using? My resin printer is currently busted so I am not printing much on it.

I have a multipack of finishing/picture hanging nails I have been using for 17 years now. It came with about 7 or 8 sizes.

The resin in the pictures is anycubic black, but I'm thinking of trying to blend in a little bit of ABS-like to combat the cracking issue in the forearms.

Yup, I was using anycubic black for a while too, but it was too brittle. I have some ABS-resin now, but I need to give it a try.

I tend to use the-ABS like most of the time unless the parts are thicker/larger and need to be a certain color. The hands hold up fine. but I'll need the ABS-like for the forearms and maybe the shoulders (I haven't tried to put them on the ball joint yet so I don't know if they'll crack). It has a little more flex, but that means the parts will need to be painted. The shade of ABS-like I have is light grey so that may make the elbow joint look weird if I have to use it. I'll post some pictures as I get time to work at it.

Okay so the ABS like resin is little more forgiving. Just gotta paint it. 20210406_144239.jpg

Okay so I got it painted. Looks like the shoulder held up to the stress without cracking, which is good cuz I didn't want to have to do all of it in ABS like. I don't have the pins to put in it yet but this is what it looks like so far. 20210406_163825.jpg 20210406_163740.jpg

Oh my god, that's sick. I really need to get my resin printer to work now! If you will have some photos of finished pieces I would love to post it on my facebook page if you are okay with that.

Those print colors look good. (And the design does of course)
I've seen people use paperclips for pins if that helps at all

Actually, that does help. I'll try to remember to grab one at the office tomorrow and see if it fits.

The paper clip thing worked so I went ahead and took some pictures. I'm no photographer so pardon the quality. 20210408_193205.jpg 20210408_192959.jpg 20210408_192921.jpg 20210408_192905.jpg

No social media that I use regularly. I have accounts but I haven't updated in years. And yeah, I think the guns need a few more supports when I print. That was my second go at them, the first time they were all smushed up against the backpack.

Went ahead and did another set of arms to complete the pair, and reprinted the backpacks. Fantastic work making these models
