I'm going to have fun with this line, but they'd better include Older Demona and Destine the human form she took in the daylight after Puck mucked around with her and Macbeth.
I’m in on this. I have noticed the bigger bulkier figures tend to fair better from NECA. Lexington will be worrying. I also hope having Disney behind approval means they have to step up the QC game. i do wish Goliath had swappable wings though.
Oh for sure the "stone" variants are easy re-decos. Bonus points if the harden the sculpts/resculpt it, though. Come to think of it, I might be more onboard with a stone-version of Goliath than the living one.
Wow that's crazy. Taking several months to ship out the orders isn't new but sucks to hear up front lol.
Great news for the future of the line! I'm guessing they'll do another run of Goliath in the future, but looking forward what else is in store with this line.
Well....that got me to pre-order one even though I know nothing about him. I thought he looked cool, and was gonna see what reviews for him were like, but it looks like he won't be available by that point.
Neca loves nothing more than to re-release their figures as many times as possible. Especially main characters. There will be more Goliath runs, if not re-releases with more accessories down the line.
Side the response is so good for these new Gargoyles figures I hope Neca will also make animation accurate versions too. Seems like it would be a easy money maker. I will happily buy both.
Can't find anywhere UK based to order him from, not worth paying shipping and custom charges that add up to more than the figure.
Yeah, I think i would prefer the stone versions too. Always wondered what kept them from being blown off the roof tops in New York during the day. Most of the time they were just balanced on the balls of their feet. New York roof tops are windy and their wings are big old sails to catch it.
Hey Bud, I have a friend who is a retailer and he said NECA stated in their solicitation for Goliath that they are only releasing in US... Not sure if that is 100% accurate, but might explain why you cant find any place to order in the UK...
Maybe they dig their toes into the concrete or just grip the edges really tightly? Sometimes they wind up pretty precarious. I've thought multiple times when watching it when a Gargoyle is shocked or surprised when turning to stone that they might have pretty poor balance in the moment, which gets drawn out to twelve hours.
The stone versions should be made out of polystone/resin. I have a lot of gorgoyle statues and the ones about the size of a 7" figure are no more than $25. They've also already used that stuff with the totem that came with Pan's Labyrinth girl.
