Those look great. I don't see that Pascal guy around here much anymore; he always had really good reviews.

Not to be snotty, but there have been plenty of reviews of Bulkhead already. Any reason that this one is newsier than others?

I guess it wouldn't count as 'recent', but IMO Beast Machines got it worse. :p

Fixed that for you. But I agree ... I hope Leader Bulkhead fixes some of the scale issues, but Deluxe BB will still be very big (and with a big head)

I just got my animated SS today and waiting for my Megs. I am suprised to see he is just a little shorter than SS. But based on those pics and already owning Lockdown, Lockdown is the tallest so far out of all the animated figures.

Yeah, he had like every movie toy months before their general release last year. A lot of people were going nuts...

Hm. I can't agree. Based on the sizes we've seen on the cartoon so far, very few of the toys we've seen are in relative scale in robot mode.

And Bulkhead is SMALL. I don't care if he's fat, or contains lots of plastic and features, or has a lead ingot in his belly... he is much much smaller than he should be in robot mode. End of story. He looks like the fat kid that Bumblebee pushes around at recess. :)

Of course, this has been an issue with Transformers since the beginning, but for a line of toys that was intended to go together (unlike G1), and with a cast as small as TFA... this line is one of the most glaring examples I think. Bumblebee is larger than Bulkhead (who cares if BH is denser or has more kibble... his prevailing visual appearance is larger). That pretty much sums it up right there.

I do confess it IS pretty amazing how much bigger Bulkhead is than Bumblebee in vehicle mode though... it's almost surreal how they reverse that way. :)

To clarify... none of this is going to keep me from buying the TFA figures I like. A cool toy is still a cool toy. I'm just sayin' is all. Heh.

Are there actually gonna be Leader Class toys, or is this just speculation?

It's been confirmed that we'll be getting Leader class figures in this line (3 of them to be specific). 2 have been confirmed to be Megatron and Bulkhead, and, while not confirmed yet, the 3rd is most likely Ultra Magnus, as we've been told he's bigger than a Voyager, and the next size class up in the line is Leader.

Is it just me or does Megatron look like something the Thundercats would ride around in?

ummm yeah ... Because the Thundercats rode around on a giant robot head attached to a platform with wires hanging off of it. *sigh*
Nice try at something funny though. :p

I... don't even understand what you're talking about... Do you?

Nice try at being aloof and sardonic though. ;)

Megatron's alt mode DOES look like something out of Thundercats, now that someone's pointed it out. There's some similar element in the overall futuristic-animated design aesthetic, I think.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing at all. Thundercats was a pretty good looking show for its time.
