At 4:45pm EST i'll be cancelling my pre-order there. Just wanted to give anyone here watching a fair shake at getting it when it becomes available.

 

I pre-ordered the absolute second it went live without even looking at the price. Wallet just took a gut punch  

 

panic move! I got mine! Also pre-ordered Apache. Around 525€ (~ $620) for both via tf-robots.nl. It's expensive but not as expensive as on ebay..

depends! the star wars stuff fetches good money and most i paid a good price on to start with.... i have won figures from sideshow collectibles , i have saved up reward codes they give away onspecial events and live shows, used £70 worth on palpatine so i paid £230 all in for it , bumped the dhl charge because they delivered first ( not the first time either stupid sideshow us them   ) i sold that figure for £420 and thats just one example ! if you are going to be a hot toys collector you have to be smart with your buying enter comps , save codes up , find those good early bird pre orders ect

although as already pointed out they are going the same way as most collectible shit now the original price is getting higher and higher

 

Yeah, for Marvel I mostly bought their Iron Man figures, all the War Machine versions since its my favorite armor when I was a kid. From Star Wars stormtroopers and now Mandalorians are my addiction. DC just the trinity from Justice League.

 

Good lord and on top of Quietus sucker punching me (and all of us) my Master Mini MM-6 Boost and MM-7 Hatch Metallic Set (Toy Ver.) dropped in my BBTS PoL... I feel overwhelmed lol.   

 

i'm still watching shows ect for sideshow reward codes i'm not far off being able to get a free figure   well free if you don't count the shipping   i'm going for 1/6 g1 snakeyes

 

i start collecting back in ironman 2 movie Hot toys just started making marvel stuffs . I still have the old ironman 2 figures. I don't flip them but i have been reselling some of my older figures and usually i can sell more then i paid for. Back then it was very limited and once they are done they don't reissue them. Now, things has changed and is mass production that's why....

 

i went mainline for movie/S3 because I dont particularly like the characters and they arent worth MP prices to me. Additionally, most of the MP versions have their own set of issues either w joints, transformations, paint scratches, and XTB Breakages. I originally thought Id go NewAge, but Hasbro has upped their game while 3P Legends have only increased their prices.

 

Hm. Yea you are not wrong. I am an ex pat and am only still on there to keep in contact with family and transformers. I have thought seriously about deleting it...

 

Just popped up at A3U. Ends up at $400 Canadian with tax for me, damn, that's way more than TT Thundercracker at $309 Canadian.

Yeah, I'm now also on the WTF train. Price is way too much of a jump, I'm definitely in for the rest of the combiners but we'll see how the pricing is after that.

Yeah same on combiners. More for their bot modes which I think are superior. If I go buying this though my wife will be buying way too many handbags as payback

So I just had a quick look at other options and I know there’s an xtransbots cyclonus. On eBay he’s 130 no idea if that’s inflated. But that’s less than half
Don’t get me wrong fanstoys are way better. But do they justify double the price? I’m no fan of xtransbots atm (stunticons grrrr) but half the damn price.....

 

Man... You must love the character / mould to dead!!! You can get a COMBINER for that much!

 

Xtb is re-releasing that Cyclonus with an updated head and paint job later this year, you may wanna look at preorders.
