I wasn't born till 87 so toon Galvatron in the movie was pretty much my only exposure to the character for a long time haha

 

I found a paint in a inverted can called highway yellow that looks really close

Is it weird that I love both cartoon and Marvel Galvatron... but prefer the cartoon colors for both just because I think the color scheme is better from an artistic standpoint?

 

I'll be getting mine delivered tomorrow...they tried to deliver it today but I can't take work off to stay home and wait around for a toy. Luckily I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow so I have all day to be able to sign for it and make "pew pew" sounds and horrifically bad Orson Welles impressions as I get it transformed and pose it.

That might be because Canada is on the other side of an impassable land bridge aka a sign denoting a border crossing which can flummox some of the most seasoned mail carriers.

 

Turn your rings around so the point counter clockwise. The instructions are 100% wrong. I know this because I bet you had an insane time getting the top ring pole into his top sphere. If you look where it plugs in, there is a little round cutout for the sphere on the top of the ring piece. Ring needs to be counter clockwise in order to use that cut out. Inspect it an you will know exactly what I’m talking about.

 

Got an email back from them, they will take a US forwarding address and redo the final cost, I recommend checking myUS.com for shipping because they claim they don't count dimentional size just actual weight, I'm in Ireland so should be pretty much the same costs as UK

The more I think about it the more confused I get. Besides the Decepticon ship, why not package him with the Quintesson ship that stabs out his eye? Or the Junkion ship that he crushes? I mean, there were a number of ships that he had an association with in that movie and they give him the one ship that he doesn't.  

 

The pics I have seen of Kingdom Galvatron show him holding guns like look like his ship. I bet they even fit into the little clear stand that came with Unicron.

This is why big Transformer toys are a no-no for me. Because not only would I have to find a place for the giant toy, but as I certified "box hoarder" I'd have to find a place for the giant box too.
