This is how you make a galvatron

 

I think you’re spot on with the chin. I was feeling that too. I did an A/B draw over to figure out what exactly was bumping for me...
I think the eyes are too close together making him feel cross eyed. The chin felt too wide and tall giving it a stylized feel rather than G1. This mouth expression is one of my pet peeves about a lot of toy sculpts- the “angry” peanut shape. Mirroring the upper and lower lip shapes create a lifeless feel imo.

My drawover doesn’t completely fix the “on modelness” to the G1 design but I think it gets it a little closer.

Yeah your modified chin does make the face better for sure! Almost turns out to be the best Galvatron face sculpt straight away.

 

For me it's kinda that the lower half is the problem while the upper half looks perfect.

Hopefully we end up seeing something more like this by the end of it, cause it's really just that lower half that changes it for me.

Definitely looks closer, but his lack of a neck that's still the one problem that would also need to be fixed on XTB's part.

Yes, totally agree!

 

Miles? No. A little bit maybe and we'll see when the other faces are finally shown. Sovereign's face is perfectly acceptable even though it's not 100% cartoon accurate. The face XTB are currently showing off is ridiculous and I'd like to thank the person who pointed out that he has a Ninja Turtle grimace because I cannot unsee it. XTB is very good with face sculpts though so there's really no shock if at least one of the other 5 faces look good.

We all know the good faces will come with the accessories pack!!!

 

They wouldn’t just give us a Leonardo face but keep back the Don, Mikey and Raphael for the accessory pack?! Outrageous!

Though if they keep Galvatron as-is with 6 in the box but add more with an accessory pack, i'm in.

Hopefully they retool them in the first place... Did some just to mess around with earlier and just to kinda guess what the other 5 are gonna be.

I for one am very excited about this. Galvatron is my favorite decepticon from G1 (ok maybe at a tie with Starscream) and any news of a new release of him is good news in my eyes.
Abbadon pretty much fixes all the issues I have with Sovereign's proportions and blockiness, and it looks like somebody finally got his legs and feet right.
Really looking forward to see how this develops.
