Thanks bud. I do really hope this was just a isolated problem with mine at assembly. Stunned this wasnt caught tho. As when I say it was a free moving waist, it has ZERO friction or click! IT was wrecked! As my waist gear ratchet mushroom is absolutely destroyed!!!
But I am getting a new ratchet mushroom an stopping panel being sent to my seller... but will take a lot of time.
So all I could do to give it some kind of a functioning waist at the moment was to do the old polish trick on the top an bottom of the mushroom gear to work as a weak friction joint for now.

But I am glad to hear this isnt widespread. As this is a really solid figure.

I believe the Christmas box is what's referred to as the "reissue". That's what mine came in from ShowZ.

I wasnt sure. I just remember the v1 box I had previously had product illustrations on the back. This is just "christmas box" all over it with no product illustrations on it at all.

Also no issues on my v2. Looks like an isolated missasembly + QC issue. Contact your retailer. Hopefully they can help.

Aw man...I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you get sorted out with a replacement. Mine came in that box as well and hasn’t had any issues. That seriously is a downer.

that looks awesome! What did you use for the wash and how did you do it? I’ve been wanting to do something like that or try to cel shade unicron. Im also still waiting on the larger wings

I used CreateFX acrylic wash I got from a local hobby store. Pretty easy to accomplish. Paint it on, wipe it off. The wash stays in the crevasses. Depending on how long you wait before wiping it away, there could be more/less cleanup. Also if you get too aggressive wiping, you could take out the wash where you wanted, so it’s a small learning curve. I was able to do the whole bot and two sets of wings with just a small bottle.

They just fell out on mine, so a small spudger or plastic toothpick should work. Didn't seem like there was a ton of glue behind them.

These are news to me. Anyone know where to find them?

Yeah, when the design is good, it's GOOD no matter who it's from. I know Hasbro/Takara has their fair shares of amazing figures, but having 3rd parties also means you have more options and people trying to outdo each other. I think Transformers is the only thing out there that has unofficial products that people would gladly collect with the real deal.

Funny you should mention that. Those parts were loose on mine floating around in the box and I had to pop them in. Should be nothing holding them in but friction.
