I mean the name's right there
Think it'd be a good alt mode against something like an elephant/Big Convoy looking Optimus so they're both sizable animals, though Optimus is still a good bit smaller. Also should be able to traverse like Skybyte and shred through the air and ground so you have nowhere to run from the giant robot murder death shark.

You know what would be funny? If Megatron employed no mass shifting whatsoever...

... and was LITERALLY the size of a Walther-P-38 when in Robot mode! To make it even more ridiculous, make the Decepticons still fear him at that size!

Yeah except she meant ... below the waist if you get my gist.

Also do agree with what you're saying with wfc. In terms of media, idw, tfa, prime and season two beast wars are the best imo. But I love mecha anime from Japan , so of course when it comes to figures, I prefer the g1 aesthetic.

Ooh, speaking of dino-formers, today I rediscovered a video I'd found a while ago about what T-rexes might have sounded like in real life (ie: not the huge loud roars we get from Jurassic Park and stuff) and it makes me yearn for a scientifically accurate reshoot of Beast Wars. Can you imagine Megatron making a smooth, grandiose speech, then transforming to beast mode and doing this?

    Also: BEHOLD!

Transtech should be done - maybe as a Netflix show, but I would love to see an accompanying toyline. Weird that since the Bayverse used similarly "Transtech-esque" designs, and I remember when it was announced how put-off people were by the Transtech designs (to be fair, people did not love the Bay designs either).

I do that with my fanverse. I've thrown together a bunch of characters from various lines and have had people ask me, "So you've got Bulkhead from Animated and Bulkhead from Prime, what do you rename either of them?" And I simply say I haven't. Back in 2000 for about a year and a half I worked with four other people with my first name. Trying to come up with unique names for every single Transformer character in situations like that would be an exercise in frustration. Doesn't hurt that in G1 the name Sky-High is used for both a Micromaster and Pretender. :D

Yeah... neither do I. Then again... I'm not that big a fan of the Marvel comics, if at all.

Okay, honestly, with few exceptions, I'm just not a fan of the comic book medium period. First off I'm a bit of a completionist/hoarder. If I start on Batman there's a very good chance I will HAVE to get all Batman comics going back to fucking Detective Comics number Twenty-Seven and continue from there! I've had to force myself to sell off a large chunk of my toys and get rid of almost all my third-party stuff. Second off the first issue I was even aware of the Marvel comics was issue fifty-eight. Up until then all I had known was the cartoon series and movie. And just... I couldn't really get into it. There's character I think it did better, like Ratchet and Scorponok-hell, Marvel Ratchet is my all-time favorite version of the character and someone I think should've gotten the Matrix, but overall... it's just not for me.

As unlikely as it would happen, I would want to see another line like Alternators again.

Although without something like Kiss Players attached. Like at all.

Me too, to be honest. I know that a lot of people like the Marvel comics, but I've never been interested enough to do more than skim through them for the bits with the humans (and Ratchet. Ratchet is definitely the MVP of the Marvel cast) and read about the rest on TFWiki. It's kind of on the level of the G1 cartoon for me (even though I prefer the cartoon) - low-budget and quirky enough to be enjoyable, with occasionally deeper and more mature content. But to me, the cartoon just seemed to have more life in it than the comics (and had no association with Simon Furman :lol ).
And honestly, I don't hate Simon Furman. I can acknowledge his better works along with the bad, but the more I read about him, the more my opinion shifted from "Alright, this guy seems a little pretentious but I'm sure he's a nice person in real life" to "Oh, this guy's just a jerk".

    What's pwt...?

Power of the primes is a good TF show and it’s better than the Netflix series so far

Prime Wars Trilogy Megatron was better than IDW Megatron ever was.

I'm not a fan of the later IDW designs, even the popular MTMTE/LL designs. They definitely feel like designs where the alternate modes were an afterthought, which I feel is a pretty poor way to design transformers. I especially dislike Chromedome and Tailgate, who look more like TFA characters dropped down into a different series with no design change. Like, I actually enjoy the TFA aesthetic, but it doesn't work when the rest of the cast.
