Got an email this morning, fedex let me know it shipped this past saturday. Expected delivery this friday.

 

I never even got that from Hasbro. I was just watching the Fed Ex manager and saw it start moving.

 

Hey guys.......... I never even received a notice, email, not even from Fed Ex ...... and it just showed up on Sunday. Fed Ex has just been having their drivers sign for stuff so it could just show up on your door step one day...


also for everyone, I got notice from the chosen prime yesterday and today that their Unicrons are coming in this week and will be shipped out and to make sure its all paid for. which is all good for me because I paid a while back.......... and yes.. i got unicrons from Hasbropulse and TCP lol.....

 

I'd be curious to see this guy next to DX9 Omega Supreme, if anyone feels kind enough to oblige!

Everyone getting their Studio Series 86 displays together don’t know where it’s really at.

 

I would have waited an eternity for this... but fortunately I didn’t have to! Can’t wait to have some time to really set up this massive work of art.

 

In person Unicron is quite noticeably more massive than DX9 Omega Supreme, which is kind of insane.

 

Took 20 minutes to do a quick check to make sure everything is present and accounted for - everything is present. No noticeable or misapplied paint apps. Some of the towers on the detachable equator pieces are warped but a little hot water and patience will fix that. No noticeable issues with the wing pieces but will scrutinize them better when I dig into it more on Thursday. Need to stop at the hobby store one day this week and get some testors silver paint, a small synthetic bristle brush, and some paint mask to fix the travesty that is his lower teeth. On the fence on whether I still feel the need to fix the maw issue or not. Will wait to see if a 3rd party fix comes available on how it is implemented to make a firm decision. For now I am happy he is a happy healthy baby boy. My devious little mind is already formulating what I am going to do with him - pics to come. Need to get some Butt Paste for Unicron. That stand is going to chafe his poor butthole.

I wish they would re-release the drone pack. I missed out on it, and now I need that damned optimus (among other things).

Mine arrived around noon today. FedEx guy asked if I was the recipient, I confirmed verbally and asked if I needed to sign anything, he said I just did. Anyhow, got it unboxed and on the stand. The PrimevsPrime video definitely helped though I accidentally unfolded the top first (which allowed me to fold out the horns). Getting everything on the shell hooked back together was a bit of a chore, but it is done. Will worry about putting the other parts on later this week and maybe get around to transforming him this weekend. For now it is almost sleep time...
