This is for those going off of an image that has repeatedly been explained to have been taken with an awful lens...

I'm not trying to be mean, but when I saw the thumbnail on the News post, I thought, "Burger King is doing Transformer toys?!" For me, this is right up there with "Sick Kup."

is the right lens going to make the shoulders look like they are in the right place? this guy just seems to be of a piece with Blurr, Kup and Cyclonus in the "oh geez what went wrong at the design phase" of 2021 TFs trying way to hard to emulate 2D animation that they forget to make them look good in 3D.*

*not that Kup even has that excuse, he's just bad.

I noticed that XD I mean it looks like they used a fisheye lens XD That doesn't come close to matching the early images we had seen. I don't know how anyone could think these weird squashed and distorted images are accurate. Hope we get some BETTER pictures taken soon, lol.

Yeah that! Look at the center image and the proportions there. That is way better.

I know my kid won\'t see it that way, but c\'mon!  even the battle damage on him looks like blueberries blew up on him!
there was a lot of promise with the images and character design, but Hasbro really just missed the ball on this one.

I don't know about this whole "The camera is bad" thing. He looks awful proportions wise from this, and no amount of toon accurate detail can change that.

 

I think that middle pic is "off" because it was pieced together by someone...so, basically what someone thought it "should" look like. The flanking pics you have are of the actual figure. The story is the one of the left was shot with a "distorted" lens and I'm not sure about the one on the right...doesn't look that much different than the one on the left. Either way, both sides (hate it!/love it!) comments seemed to be "highly dubious." It is what it is...carry on.

edit: if that middle pic is not pieced together, I stand corrected...or sit corrected...whichever.

 

Totally agree. For someone who wants to cut it as a leaker they need to learn how to take a decent photo. Plus the head seems to change in every one

 

The head's a lil big, but I'm sure a third party company is working on it already, along with maybe a new cannon, etc.

 

Funny cause everyone was complaining about the proportions in that image when it came out too. No one can be satisfied with a limited budget Galvatron

 

Honestly if the center image is correct then I have no issues at all. If so many people don't like it then more for the rest of us XD

 

Impressive.  My only qualm is the deco.  Specifically, the \"siege\" scars.
