Where is the rest of his legs? He looks like a teapot, short and stout.

 

Sorry if this has been asked already, but what's the point of putting Galvatron in the Kingdom line, when the Studio Series 86 line is currently out? Would it not have been better to release this version of him without the battle damage in that line? Just wondering.

 

Wiiiiiide torso. Not necessarily a bad thing, but still a bit weird.

I don’t think it matters. At this point you might as well call Studio Series 86, part of WFC.

 

Short legs, wide chest, arms too long (arms/legs look like they are completely out of proportion). My meh is creeping dangerously into do not want territory. Makes me sad.

 

The legs aren't short... the lens on this guy's camera sucks.

 

I had joked about this being a retool or TR Galvatron. Now that I see it I wish it were true.

 

Wtf, it looked so good up until a full on view of him. He looks like a pouty child with those proportions. Not to mention the weirdly high head and low shoulders with stumpy legs. Wtf happened.

 

Yep. We predicted people would come in, see the new photos and assume they were accurate when previous photos and Phamduc have shown us otherwise.  

 

Because there is only 3 constants in Transformers:

1. The inevitability of G1 toys
2. Hasbro's conviction that G1 is still underrepresented in the toyline
3. G1 fans whining that G1 is still underrepresented in the toyline

Awesome! The angle and OBVIOUS PICTURE DISTORTION taken by the shitty OP on Instagram is absolutely fucking ATROCIOUS, though. Worse than Hasbro's crappy stock photography skills.

 

They seem to be cross-pollinating. By making people buy across both lines, they hope to trigger completionists to buy the rest of the line. Either that, or it makes more sense from their budgeting. Rather than an additional wave of WFC, just include a few in the Studio Series.
Whatever the reason, I’m just glad they are finally making quality G1 toys available at less than $100. Had WFC started years ago, I’d never buy an MP figure.

just got my Unicron and all I can say is, “Daaaaaaamn!” Seriously an amazing presentation. This Galvatron will look amazing with Unicron.

Yeah me too. The chest looks way too wide. Probably to facilitate the transformation, but it just looks weird to me

 

Why is it so freaking hard to make a good Galvatron toy?

Universe 2.0: bad

AOE: laughably phoned in (then again it’s an AOE design in 2014)

Titans Return: close but the dumb headmaster gimmick and a weird placement for the cannon ruined it

Kingdom: a purple munchkin from Wizard of Oz. Battle damage is fine. I can remove paint I don’t want. I can’t fix proportions without buying (sigh) another add on kit

 

F**king stupid battle damage. Looks good though. Better than being a headmaster I suppose.

 

Looking at a full pic his proportions are way off. I hate to say it but I'll pass
