I'm just watching a bit of Armada on YouTube, and right near the end of this segment, there's a close up on Blurr's face - and it looks like he's got a human face under his visor. I find this to be odd... animation quirk, I assume?
Doesn't Prime have a mouth under his faceplate and Jazz have eyes under his visor? And I know the Blurr toy has little eye indentations behind his visor as well.
Yeah, you can take it either by thinking that many TFs (if not all) are made of liquid metal below their armour, or like you said, as an animation quirk. I prefer not to think much about it.
I think all the faces have some human characteristics in that segment. It seems to be the way that artist draws them. Though I can't see anything that screams human under there.
Yes. I'm glad somebody else noticed this. The outline of Blurr's face through his visor indeed looks like he has a human face because they used smooth lines. It also looks like there's plenty of room in his head, giving the impression of somebody wearing a helmet. I hope that makes sense.
It's an anime thing. Just about any anime robot with some kind of visor will have at least one shot where they do that. It's just supposed to look cool.
If you are talking about 8:48, I don't think his face looks any more human like than any of the other bots. He has a squared nose and shiny red eyes.
