    I am personally upset the director via social media revealed MechaGodzilla is in his own film. Sure, the toys are online/in store, but many don't pay attention to that or leaks. Now with this, people are going to assume Godzilla and Kong team up to destroy MechaGodzilla. I thought a few weeks ago it was very smart marketing for Adam to say there is a definite winner in Godzilla vs. Kong because the original's ending is quite wide open, but now it feels like that has been undone. MechaGodzilla would have been such a sweet reveal/surprise for casual movie audiences or Godzilla fans; some have been complaining because it has been officially revealed now.

    Yep... pretty cool the way they did it with the Gotengo though.

    Pretty much. I think Rodan, Agnuirus, and King Caesar were the only ones that didn't get killed.

    Yeah, Godzilla spared them since they're old allies and he knows they weren't in their right mind at the time.

    Funny enough, Mothra also survives despite her kamikaze against Gigan (she's seen flying back home during the credits) despite more often than not dying every other time she appears :lol
