man, this is the first time I've looked at the instructions and had to walk around the toy when doing the 180 degree turn!

 

Does anybody have measurements of the shipping box? I had to change to a pick up of signature purposes and looking at some of the pics I am not sure it will get in the door opening of my car.

 

I was -almost- underwhelmed by expectations when I opened the box, even though he’s still big ... but once I got him on the stand and the rings assembled he looked fucking massive!!

 

Shipping box is nearly the same size as his actual box, it serves as a sleeve, more or less. His actual box is basically 2ftx2ftx2ft.

 

Thanks. That will easily fit. I don't have a small car but it looked a lot bigger in some of the pictures I was looking at. I was thinking close to 34in cube. I guess I was projecting my height in to images like this. Imagine if she was 75in tall how big that box would be

it's closer to a 25" cube but it barely fit in my car's front seat...and even then I had to roll the window down so the edge could fit outside

Hmm, East Bay here, not sure what happened but if you have a fedex account, check to see if there is a shipping label made. Sometimes I would get the shipping notice after it was delivered from pulse.

 

Delivered today! Originally next Tuesday, then Monday, but arrived early!

you are a better man than me. i just took the wings off when i alted mine. i really didnt feel like dealing with all that extra shit as i struggled to carefully break apart panels that i could not see the back off.

 

Yes, I would like the colors to match the instructions but all in all this thing is amazing. It's a nice centerpiece and I'm enjoying looking at it's planet mode so I probably won't transform him for a little bit. It's also giving me a weird feeling, almost like closure. I'm pretty close to having the collection I want. Aside from an MP Galvatron, MP combiner, and MPs outside of G1 or movies, I just may be done collecting. Never anticipated that.

Also be careful, I noticed when I went to transform him back to planet mode that one of the tabs on the slider behind his neck was bent most of the way off.
