    miffy21584 IS A SCAMMER- September 4 2020

miffy21584 seems to be another case of a good seller gone bad. Before purchasing FT Dunerider/runner/beachcomber from them, I had seen multiple posts on the Good Seller's list vouching for the legitimacy of the seller. That is not the case. If you take a look at their recent feedback, you will see an influx of negative feedback, claiming inactivity, and items being delivered to the wrong address. Additionally, multiple members on this site have reported being scammed by this seller as well.

I have contacted ebay about this and they noted this account was alarming:

    From the eBay rep
So now I will wait a couple of days for the case to resolve and get my money back!

I can confirm this. Recently purchased APC Dark Master from this guy on August 14th only for it to pop up in the wrong zip code and be listed as out for delivery for the past three days with no update. Currently working on getting my money back. Avoid miffy21584.

Weird name. They're not a big seller, but they still have a lot or two of figures. I bought a set of Animated figures from them. Was informed that one of the figures in the lot 'couldn't be found'. I said fine, give me a partial refund and ship it. Tracking number provided but the package was never sent to USPS. Asked them what was going on, no response. Opened a case with eBay. They finally responded saying they were 'really busy with work' and thus couldn't ship the package, then provided new tracking information that again went nowhere. EBay gave me a refund, haven't heard form them since.

Hi all, google led me here as I, also, was a victim of Wheeljack's Lab on Ebay. Some time ago I ordered a Kenner Alien Queen action figure. The header specifically stated it included the "deadly chest hatchling" accessory, but when I received the item not only was the accessory nowhere to be found, I discovered the lower left part of the figure's jaw was gone. Wheeljack's claimed that they hadn't noticed the jaw damage (awfully convienent that the figure was pictured only from the right so it could not be seen in the listing) and that, although it was advertised as having the accessory, it was my fault for being disappointed because I should have known it wouldn't be there because it wasn't in the pictures?? The subsequent negative feedback I left stating all of the above was 'vanished' without notice by ebay and, when I tried to contact ebay customer service chat to ask why, they could not explain why. Seller somehow has a sweetheart deal with ebay and gets special treatment even though they're terrible. At least this thread exists to warn people about our experiences. Wheeljack's Lab is a RIPOFF!

Just a heads up keep an eye on bababobo’s eBay id. It just offered me 95% percent off of a listing I’ve been watching for 6 months. Not sure if he’s been hacked or what. Chances are this could go bad quick.

Add eBay seller kimrran to the list of bad eBay sellers.
    kimrran on eBay

That piece of crap advertised FANSTOYS FT-31D Smokey for $188, including shipping. He then sent me X-Transbots Overheat instead. Called him on it and he said the ad was always for Overheat. I asked him, if that is true, then why did the title for the listing specifically say FANSTOYS FT-31D Smokey with NO mention of either of the words X-transbots OR Overheat. He then offered me a $15 refund!!! WTF! Naturally I said no. I said I wanted my entire purchase price refunded to which he responded he would need me to ship the item back to him. Told him I'd be happy to do so as long as he paid for shipping as this was his fault. He refused.

Went to PayPal and that $15 credit devolved into a .99 cent credit, which I refused. He and I continued to chat via eBay and he finally agreed to pay to ship the item back. I agreed. The next day I get a message from PayPal saying the seller has agreed to refund my money but now I had to pay for shipping. On top of that he wanted to ship it to some address in Israel instead of China, from where the item originated. Did some digging and found out that, not only was the address he gave a fake, but that the street he referenced is thirty miles away from the town he referenced. By that point I was done. Called PayPal and told them the entire story...they closed the case in my favor, refunded my entire purchase, and told me I did not have to send the item back. So, now I've got a free Overheat AND got my money back. Love it when scammers get taken!

I really hope not. It's not a fun experience.

If you're at all suspicious about the address call PayPal and open a claim. They stood by me. Also, I would not pay to ship it back. The mistake was theirs not yours. They should pay for the shipping.

    I know, right?

I was willing to send the item back to the seller. Had he just admitted to what he did and paid to ship the item back he would only have been out the cost of shipping. Instead, he tried to double down on his scamming and now is screwed out of $188 AND the cost of the Overheat figure. He's absolutely not getting that figure back now, even if he did pay for the shipping. I'll keep it in payment for the weeks of bs they put me through in trying to get this resolved.

So are these people putting up totally fraudulent listings and just borrowing your money until they're required to refund you for the nothing that they never actually had to sell you?

    Isn't that a prison sentence?

Seller dragontoys-1 has a 100% rating with 130 feedback, so I took the chance. A few days after doing a Buy It Now purchase from this seller, they send me a message on eBay about how they were not able to acquire the item in the listing from one distributor so they had to go to another distributor and it cost $40 USD more. So naturally they want me to pay them an additional $40. Yeah, not going to happen.

One of two things is happening here. Either they wait until the listings are purchased before they even attempt to acquire the item, or they have the item and are just trying to squeeze more money out of me. Either way, both actions are in direct violation of eBay's policies.

I made that fact clear to this seller in the messages we've been sending back and forth and I finally gave an ultimatum: immediately ship the item I purchased exactly as advertised in the listing or they will receive a negative seller rating and I will file a dispute. Haven't had a response yet.

Whatever happens, I will never buy from this seller again.

Can you provide an update here? I've seen this seller around a lot and was suspicious of them immediately. Anytime I see an account like this with only about 100 ratings and they're offering a lot of the most popular figures, I always assume that either it's a larger account's new, side account, a scammer or both.

They currently have the cheapest listing for FT-29T on Ebay right now, which is enough to make me question any account, much less a new one.

Be very careful with this... From what I can tell, his major issue comes when you buy any used/refurbished figure, because he's notorious for selling either broken, incomplete or pieces which are more damaged than he lists. And while that may sound like it's just normal dispute over what 'used' means, I've also heard at least a dozen stories of him saying that a figure is used but posting a photo of a figure in good shape only to then sell a different figure with significant damage.

In general, I've just heard that he's a spiteful asshole to anybody who has any issue with any exchange which doesn't completely go his way.

Not much to update yet. I ordered two figures at the same time and one shipped after five days or so and the other (the one he wanted more money for) shipped out more than a week after that. Very slow to ship things out and I haven't received either one yet because they're coming from China, so it'll probably still be a few more weeks.

I never paid the guy the extra money he asked for and he supposedly shipped out the figure, but we'll see. He never sent pics of the second figure before shipping it like he said he would, but I'm not the least bit surprised by that.

seller shra950 is full of shit

Seller will add "decals" to the listing title and supposedly ship the decal sheet separate from your item. It'll never arrive.

shra950 is trying to compete with other listings by promising a decal sheet. Buyers thinks they're getting a better deal because decal sheet is included-- don't fall for the scam.

It's pretty sad because they'll ship the correct item but never the promised decals. shra950 stop trying to trick people. I don't like being tricked or lied to and I don't think anyone else does either.

That's funny, he seems to have a patented excuse that each buyer upset about this just isn't being patient enough... But there are a few things which don't add up, namely why he'd ship the decals separately if they are at his own expense. Maybe the most telling part, though, is that if these were just impatient, impossible-to-please customers like he's implying, they likely wouldn't have left him neutral feedback rather than negative.

He sounds a lot like the sellers who swear that your purchase is totally covered in the event that there is a defect or damage; they'll ship you the figure, but any conditional benefit which you're expecting to be included isn't.
