Just got Quintessons and Alicon on today’s mail call. They go really well with some 3P Sharkticons.

 

I finally found a good use for those flat gun things Skylynx comes with! feet! lol

Anyway, I found with my last modulator/weaponizer combiner that trying to work with the existing heads is limiting, so due to the way I did this, it doesn't actually have a head. But I like the configuration enough that I might make a custom one for it like I did with my Powerdasher combiner.

Elita-1 - "I hope your right Optimus! Time is definitely of the essence right now!"

Bumblebee - "Looks like someone up ahead Prime!"

Bumblebee - "Okay, but I don't understand! He was pretty articulate! Why does he have to be purged?"

Optimus Prime - "Because allowing an inferior transforming action figure to get a pass opens Pandora's box that's why!"

Optimus Prime - "Next it'll be okay if they don't have wrist movement or bending knees or turning heads! Then the whole world goes to fucking shit!"

Bumblebee - "I just thought since he's a Hasbro figure and could articulate everywhere else that-"

Optimus Prime - "What the hell are you saying kid?"

Elita-1 - "I think what he's trying to say is what about compromise! You know that thing you can't wrap your head around!"

Optimus Prime - "You can't hold that against me! Show me one single bot that can articulate their head around something!"

Elita-1 - "No! It's a figure of speech!"

Optimus Prime - "We're all figures of speech! We can all talk!"

Elita-1 - "No you big dummy! I mean it's like when Grapple and I wanted to form the Brotherhood with you! You couldn't come to bear that we were wrist pivots and not wrist swivels!"

Optimus Prime - "Hey I eventually came to terms that you're equal since you can move your wrists in a way I can't and I can move them in a way you can't!"

Elita-1 - "Yeah! After you spent six months with those monks on top of that fucking mountain pondering it!"

Elita-1 - "You do realize you're going to have to compromise to get his help, right? You and Grapple were too stubborn to see the greater good last time!"

Optimus Prime - "I see him as an equal, but that thing he protects! God! Thou shalt not suffer a Gobot to live!"

Elita-1 - "Compromise Optimus! We need his help to save us all from Cykill's plan!"

Optimus Prime - "Compri- pri-.....mise! It's such a dirty fucking puke of a word! And my Padawan can't even bring himself to double tap a Gobot!"

Optimus Prime - "Maybe it was a mistake to try and train this boy! Maybe he's not cut out to be a Slayer!"

It baffles me that we got Fasttrack. It baffles me further that I bought him.

So, in the eighties, what you would do with Fasttrack here is you would roll him down Scorponok’s ramp a few times, lose his arms, and then lose him in the depths of the toy bin. I’m very glad you can still remove his parts and lose them today, even without his ramp!

Is there a video review anywhere of that backpack upgrade? I'm curious to watch it's transformation

 

Beware of the 115 Utopia Doubledealer leg extension kit and gap panel covers. Received ours and was straight up garbage out the box. The rocket handle extension was complete fail and not remotely close to fitting. The panel parts are supposed to connect with each other in both modes. The tabs connecting the panels are also size mismatched; you can force them together for alt mode but not bot mode. One knee replacement worked OK but the other kept popping out.

After making the necessary mods to get the rocket handle extension and knee joint working, got the kit to finally work. I may end up tweaking the interpanel connectors too. The kit still allows for full transformation into rocket launcher and even bird mode with the legs collapsed all the way in.

2/10 before modding for not working out the box.

 

I'm going to need at least 5 more Ironworks at this rate
