Blades would be the best in terms of alt mode, but he'd be too short.
I guess it could work with Springer if they did some retooling. They could sell the car mode as a Cybertron Galvatron homage.

If only! Evac was one of my favorite Cybertron characters and toys. I'd have two decoes to buy of a legends Evac mold for sure.

 

Springer could still work of course, but one of the reasons I mentioned Highbrow specifically is that it could also reference Animated Megatron, and you can still get the rotor on each shoulder look, but with main rotors this time instead of tail rotors.

 

Ridiculous alt mode, but ..... I bought it.

As I said I don't see why he would even need to be a repaint of a G1 helicopter and not just a helicopter, plus it would be pretty funny to get a modern Legends Cybertron Evac since Cybertron is how that size was born.

 

Well yeah. But do you see Newage doing Evac anytime soon?

 

They could do Galvatron first then repaint him into Evac.

 

I hope this gets repainted into Energon Megatron and Galvatron, but what I really want is a Legends Armada Megatron that can replace Energon Galvatron's tank gun (since it's shaped like a small Armada Megs anyway).

Someone else will have to handle a new larger version to go with it....

 

Well, Fans Hobby is working on an Energon Prime, can't imagine a Megs wouldn't be far behind

 

That's not NA's MO, that sounds more like something Ironfactory would do.

NA's style so far is to use redeco's and retools of their G1 molds, because doing G1 characters is their priority (unfortunately), I wish they were more flexible with character choices like Ironfactory, but it doesn't look like they will be.

 

I need all of these in Generations/WFC scale.

 

It hurts being a UT fan sometimes.

If Iron Factory Ruination was in that scale I'd be all over it.

Aha, is he a difficult guy to find now, MS SG Prime? I hate that when you leave it too long, or it just didn't work in the budget then, then it never gets released again. I got caught out with MS Trailbreaker (a fine figure but I still paid too much perhaps $60 ish early this year - tip off from the industrious @Autobrat Leader!) but the one that got away for me is MMC Sky Lynx. I had multiple chances but chickened out and now that thing is like chicken teeth. Rare I mean.

 

I've found a couple of sellers on ebay that have a few which seem reputable - feedback in the thousands so hopefully should be ok.

Yeah gutted I missed out on trailbreaker and I will not pay the £50-60 I've seen him going for. Will wait for NA o eventually get round to him I think.

Need to wait a bit before pulling the trigger as it were - probably spent far too much recently!!  

 

As Grimtnt pointed out the issue is more that NA never made any non-G1 molds so far in the legends scale.
They did that G1ified Barricade, but that was only because they already had the Smokescreen mold.
SG Megatron here and Straxus are the most they ever did for characters that didn't appear in the cartoon, altough that SG Shockwave from the Jazz mold also had some retooling done to it.
If these guys sell well they might become more adventurous, but I don't see them doing original Unicron Trilogy molds any time soon, sadly.
