Funny enough, Paw Patrol does the same thing. The two most popular dogs come in solid cases with their own DPCIs. The other four are split. Two in one assortment, two in the other.

Each case also tilts a bit. As there's a secondary pup and a tertiary in each. The secondary pup gets priority in the assortment.

As a parent who's kid likes the tertiary pups more, it's nice that the two more popular ones can sell through without leaving a bunch of shortpacked stuff blocking restock.

 

Well it's not a perfect system, especially since every Wal-Mart I've seen still only has the first assortments and Target seems to have gone straight past what it is considered Wave 2 and 3. But, those problems are because of other factors and are at least not tied to too many He-Mans and Skeletors (which is what usually kills the MOTU lines of the past).

I don't actually pay much attention to WWE Masters let alone buy them, but I did see what I think is the latest wave at Wal-Mart with like Ricky Steamboat and a Becky Lynch that looked cool. If you're after them, I hope your stores get some soon.

wow i couldn't find trailbreaker at target for eternity. had to order it online. could hardly find any wave 1 for kingdom and now we're on wave 2??? the only thing i ever see is arcee smh . freaking this is horrible.

off topic I know but which 2 Paw Patrol dogs are the most popular? Marshall and Chase? A couple years ago my young son was big into Paw Patrol and we watched many episodes together. Seems like he has moved on and I haven’t seen him watch any Paw Patrol episodes in over a year.

 

Marshall and Chase, because kids love fire trucks and police cars.

Then its Rubble and Sky because kids love construction and wooshing stuff around.

Rocky and Zuma are just sorta there. Funny enough my son loves Zuma. But he's been growing out of it lately.

Both. Several cases of wave 2 deluxes and the Netflix wave 3 deluxes at Walmart. Core wave two and Deluxes at Target.

Just need to happen across a Magnus to call it a successfully expensive week.

 

I wouldn’t worry yet as it’s still March. Trailbreaker by comparison was in a year-end wave and those waves are sometimes notoriously hard to find even for Hasbro’s other lines.

Last year in my area, I only saw remnants of wave 2 at Target/Walmart summer-fall, saw most at Aldi in November-December, sometimes Kroger Marketplace and most recently at Walgreens.

So long as stores keep ordering waves 1-2 between now and when waves 3-4(if there’s a 4th Kingdom wave, I haven’t kept up), we should be fine going towards the end of this year. Key word being “should” and YMMV depending on the order practices of your local stores. For example 1 of the Targets I’ve been to seems to either have a fan doing the toy orders and/or a very competent employee since they stock the newest stuff more frequently than others.

 

No kidding! I'm happy to have found all of them in the wild, though. It was a fun ride.

Found 2 Huffers randomly at my local Target today. They never have anything.
