RIP Mr Juster, thank you for one of the most imaginative children's stories I ever read.

 

Also if you haven’t, there’s actually a movie based on the book, it’s live action/animated (mostly animated), with Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) as the main character, and said animation done by the legendary Chuck Jones. Very underrated movie but worth checking out, ESPECIALLY if you’ve read the book.

 

RIP. I’m only 25, but I really like my cassette tape collection. I initially bought them because the radio in my 1998 Impreza had a cassette player. I really loved going to flea markets and finding old tapes to listen to. I like older music anyway, and an album on tape costs like $2 instead of like $10 on iTunes. My three favorite tapes I own are a Led Zeppelin collector’s edition, Jeff Foxworthy standup tape, and Foreigner’s greatest hits.

Ahh. Man. Parker was just the guy on the Nostromo. Level-headed, straightforward, eager to make his money. He played that part so well and it’s sad to see another member of the crew gone, after John Hurt, Harry Dean Stanton, and Ian Holm (and Bolaj of course). RIP.
