Wanted to add something to the BSF review.

    - the ankle is on a double rocker but it's stiff. Bobby was afraid to mess with it, but the ankles have some of the best articulation of any figure I own.

-the ab crunch is absolutely not limited. Idk what happened there but it goes to 90 degrees.

I definitely agree with Bobby more on the materials the more I think about it though. The plastics feel okay but not like Fans Hobby or Fans Toys products.

Also, my earlier post didn't really express properly how top heavy this bad boy is. It can make posing a bit of a chore but YMMV.

Overall though, still happy with this guy. Excited to see what LT do next.

Top of the chest is the traditional shockwave area. The top of his chest is a single pannel in the center area, so it shouldn't need to split for transformation or anything.

Yeah, I feel like a very select few have mastered the transformation at this point. And it seems that pegs might need to be shaved in some areas, on some copies at least.

A brilliant looking figure. I used the stop motion transformation for instructions and Had no issues. In fact it made me confused as to why everyone seems to struggle transforming this guy because it feels pretty good and after shaving the tabs for the chest, it was a smooth transformation.

I just got this guy and while my copy isn't perfect (more on that later) he is a really awesome figure.

But I am wondering if there have been some tweaks in manufacturing. There are two things that I have notice on mine so far (only gone to ship mode and back once).
First the backpack did not require extreme force to open/close. Second the metal bars that the arms move up and down on for transformation are super loose.
Both of these are good things and from what I have seen in reviews, they make mine much easier to transform.
I also had no trouble getting into ship mode on the first try (watched Emgo's review showing ankle position).

For the bad stuff, I have 2 joints with pretty bad cracks. One in the right ankle and another in the ab joint.
I have contacted the eBay seller I bought from (toyfly2015) who has said they will contact the manufacturer to try and get replacement parts. So hopefully I can get the cracks sorted.

All up an awesome figure with a couple a factory issues probably caused by overly tight screws.

I really love the ship mode on this guy, they did such a clean job with the transformation.

And is it just me, or are giant purple robots just awesome?

great collection! Which shockwave is your favorite? And how would you rate the potato in comparison?

Thanks! They each sort of hit different spots for me. Quakewave is probably my favorite because he looks like he could go toe to toe with Megatron (old school comic Shocky), whereas Laserwave is straight up off the cartoon Shocky. Purple tater is kind of Shockwave by accident... it's neat that Galvatron's ship turns into Shockwave, but he's really not Shockwave to me, if that makes any sense.

I absolutely love the ship, despite the huge pain in the ass it was to transform :)  The magnet activation doesn't work well on mine (like 10% success), but it's still cool that it exists. I'm not going to leave the batteries in it anyway.

Got him and transformed him straight into the ship. No issues I noticed except for both the flight stand tabs and both other tabs in that particular connection all needed a lot of trimming. No cracking, arm sliders were fine. Everything lined up great. I'm almost sad about his robot mode. While it did look nice, is anyone really going to display him in robot mode when you could instead show off the sweet Nemesis!

    Now go... Destroy the matrix!

I just now found extra hinges at the base of the "wings".

    Hooray for gun wings :)

I had a bear of a time getting the sliders back up for bot mode. They moved fine down into position going into alt mode. I had some silicon oil on hand, but even that didn't even make them move up any easier. The problem is the leverage is very awkward. What ended up doing it, and didn't actually take much force, was opening up the panel for where his head folds in. From there I could reach my thumb nail right under the sliders at the post. Just a little force popped it into place.

I always love seeing groups of figures like this. Even if it's a bunch of designs or characters I don't like, there's something about having multiples of things that makes it more appealing.

Anyone know where those two little screw covers go to? Or at least they look like screw covers.

In ship mode, they go on one side of the underhanging piece that the backpack connects to. In bot mode, that piece is the center of his torso, but the screw holes aren't visible.

Starboard... if you look at the first post, they're visible in the very last picture. If you were holding the ship like a gun, it would be where your trigger finger would sit.

So which is "Movie correct"? The white arms extra extended in ship mode or just the first section showing?
