    Picked up my first SS 86 figure today! Grimlock is an amazing, nearly perfect figure in my eyes. He fits in amazingly with my WFC Autobots, and he's super expressive in both modes. My only real complaint is the screw holes on the dino head. Other than that, perfect

    Two questions, though. Mine only seems to have ratchets on one hip. Is this normal, or is there a way I can fix it? Also, one of my hips springs back when moved outwards. Again, is there a way to fix it?

    I know the ratchet problem is somewhat common, not sure how to fix it. Not sure about the other one though.

    One thing to note about these "upgrades" is that the dino claw holds the sword in place. I also have my doubts about the hand strength and don't see them able to hold his rifle.

    Yeah, I think that's why they designed him his front teeth missing, tbh. That probably wouldn't have fit with the front teeth there.

    I wish they would've included those blast effects with him, seeing as I don't have them :(

    I've handled multiple copies of Grimlock and the right arm doesn't ratchet on any of them. It looks like the plastic nub may not be formed correctly or warped slightly inward so that the ratchet doesn't contact it. I may see if I can fit something in there to slightly push it or may just add some Future polish to see if it works. Not the worst issue, but annoying.

    Yeah, blast effects would have been nice. I would have much rather they included cool stuff like that than that sad little Wheelie figure.

    I picked up Hot Rod recently, but one of the flaps that folds up to become the rear lower leg doesn't click in and hold nicely like the other does. Did I get a lemon, or is this is a common issue?
