Called it. Y’alls adamancy that they couldn’t be the original figures made no sense... kinda disappointed the packaging is so close to the original, but that was more wishful thinking on my part since the G1 reissues also had slavish packaging.
I’m hopeful for a Blackarachnia reissue in more Telemocha colors... that would look awesome on my shelf in retro packaging next to the original. I think Cheetor will also have a rocky bubble, but will that carry over to the second wave (if there is one) or will they switch over to the smooth? Would love a rocky bubble BA, but they may try to stay close to accuracy and switch to smooth.

Also called it on Rattrap... I knew that mold wasn’t lost in 2006   They just didn’t want a scale discrepancy.

 

Sad there's no vintage Rampage.

Other than the skinny legs, the Rampage mold was amazing.

 

I love that mold, it'd never happen but i'd love it if we got releases of the beast wars metals version of the figures. Rampage's deco with the big purple X on his back and the dark red limbs makes him look fantastic.

 

Man thats awesome, and it's a triple changer too.

One day I hope there will be a Masterpiece Rampage and Depthcharge

 

The only thing I didn't like about Rampage were those huge ass crab legs on his arms. I really wished that they had put them on his back like they did in the animation.
