Yeah, I've got plenty of Megatrons in his normal colors as well (and a G2), so I wouldn't mind something a little different. I'm just hoping they'll show the colors beforehand so I can make an informed decision. Because heh, at $250 a piece that's a bit pricey to get multiple of these (although truthfully space is a bigger factor than cash right now)

 

So far I'm not that interested in it. War Prime got a nuclear ver a year later so maybe it might be the same with Megs?

I didn't see they put him up at $214, plus shipping it'd be close to $250 for me. The Prime was awesome but I got him for $130, so I'm out on this unless the colors change my mind.

If this comes out in G1 Megatron colors first instead of those, I'd probably go ahead and lose that $25 to BBTS and cancel. I just assumed it would be in Dominator colors.

 

Was browsin around and saw him up at TFS-Express, never heard of site before tho. Anyone order from them before? Seems way too good to be true, like they murder you on shipping or something.

Oh yeah, shipping's listed as really fast by them but the prices for it are a bitch. At least to Canada.
I tried to see how much Naval Commander was from them, and was given the options of shipping being $72 for 6-15 days or $91 for 3-4 days, and knowing Canada Post and how stupidly long they take, it wouldn't be worth that much.

Ah I see. I guess some sites just like to figure shipping into figure already and some like to bait with low price tag.

 

This TFC megatron on Showz is $213.99 with their 'free postage' that can take from a few days to a few weeks.

Tfs-express is $164.99 + $44 for their 10 - 25 day postage which is probably the same speed or better than showz which is $208.99

Naval Commander is $234.99 on showz and $169.99 ± $52 which is $221.99 on Tfs-express.

You can just add to basket and get a postage quote without signing up for a site account, which is what I just did to get these examples of US shipping.

So hardly murder or a bait and switch...yes you could pay $70-90 for shipping, which is more expensive, but it also comes to you via a courier instead of postal service (DHL I think) and arrives much quicker.

It's just human nature to be attracted by 'free shipping' or disappointed when the 'super low price' turns out to not include shipping, and then you see the true cost of shipping.

These sites are generally fairly comparable with their total cost, overall.

 

Huh, didn't realize Showz increased NC Price. I got it at 195-200 USD, so I guess him selling a bunch made them decide to raise it a bit.
