So last week I made my take on a Transformers/ M.A.S.K. crossover of Detonator from M.A.S.K this week though I decided to make Thunderhawk who for me at least is gonna be my M.A.S.K leader.

Unlike Detonator I couldn't get a match on alt mode but I went and used the ER Runamuck as it has some Camaro aspects in it.

The custom parts are the wheels designed and printed by me all 6 of them as I also replaced the fake out heel wheels, new spoiler what I know isn't fully correct but I made it the way I did for support reasons. The last custom bit is the new head designed by me also.

Thoughts?

 

Nailed it with the paint work and decals. The custom wheels are a nice touch.

Only slight thing I would change is the head. I wish it looked like Matt's helmet. It would be what I'd want in a Maskformers line, all bots to have the MASK head.

 

Not sure alt the head. Perhaps you could make it look a bit more like Tracker's mask?

Also, wouldn't Seige Sideswipe be a better fit, as it has gull-wing doors?

 

I'm gonna be making the mask guys into their targetmasters so that's why I'm not doing it

 

I have another idea for the MASKs and sideswipe is completely the wrong car design

 

Should have made the head look like Matt's Mask.

How about the Back to the Future car? A bit of a custom, and that might work?

Why would they use Sideswipe to make a lorry?

This is awesome. The Thunderhawk always looks cool. I like the helmet too. I think the "camaro elements" you mention have to do with the pontiac firebird being one of the inspirations for this mould.

 

Oh aye definitely but it lends it self well to being the Thunderhawk more so then many other bots I could of used (plus gives me a reason to pick up the figure since I don't collect cons)
