My set shipped from Carteret, NJ

Got my set today.

 

My one regret about this set, I wish they would've included a Countdown repack for us who STILL don't think Omega Supreme has any business with Micromasters.

Still waiting for mine to ship, though.

 

That's why I think that the Amazon botropolis set sold out because it matches beautifully with skylynx. Even though it's not a mainline figure like the how coneheads are as well as the autobot sets.

 

Yup. Sky Lynx sold the set and this set sold Sky Lynx.

 

Definitely what made me buy it. I had skylnyx teamed with countdown and the astro squad so this set was a perfect addition!

 

Shame Astroscope got dropped from Sky Lynx. Well maybe they'll do the Requiem Blaster trio when they do an Armada homage.

I plan on making a rocket base with these guys, Sky Lynx, Omega, astrotrain, the original versions of the Modulators and Doubledealer. Once I clear the floor space. Shame I wasn't ever able to get any Doublecrossers, might add some flexibility to my layout.

I wonder if we'll ever see any other sets that are meant to go with a big figure? I don't know if they'll have the same appeal without the base connectivety, but it might happen.

 

That would be cool but honestly, I'd just love to see more sets like this period with one or more modulator MM base figures with a unified scheme and a nice looking combined base mode with a few micromasters included. I know realistically, it would probably involve existing molds and that might limit options but if Hasbro decided to do new remolds or molds altogether, I'd be for this type of release.

 

So I've been looking at my inbox for weeks waiting for an update on the state one way or another and the first thing they tell me is my order has been canceled because they couldn't process my card. I never even got an option to switch it. Now I can't find any except for stupid prices. Does anybody have an extra one they would care to sell me for a non stupid price? I have some exclusives including bluestreak and a centurion drone

 

I really hope they do, I'm a sucker for space themed TFs

Agreed. It's definitly a case where this didn't appeal as much at mass market with the Modulators and base systems, but it definitly appealed to a fan nitch like crazy.

Some third party might make some cash doing more modulator compatable figures, actually. Or even just giving AIRlock connectors to bigger figures with base modes.

Me too. Or in general oddball vehicles. That's one thing Go-Bots had on Transformers. We had to wait until animated for a Garbage Truck for crying out loud. Eventually one gets tired of sports cars.

 

I’m hoping the Commander Rodimus trailer has AIR Lock connection points to continue that. I’m also hoping the ramps show up on the cheap at TJ Maxx, Ross, etc.

Got Omega in from Pulse last week and started putting this together this past Wednesday in anticipation of the Botropolis set showing up this weekend:



My kids are on spring break this week, we’ll probably clear some extra space and add Scorponok and the Titans Return bases to it. I wish there were more options for G1 Micromaster adapters to TR and WFC.

My Botropolis set is officially MIA. Amazon couldn't find it and refunded me for it, the USPS couldn't find it because it never made it to an actual post office. Glad to get my refund, but I'm pretty sad there's always gonna be those few missing spots in my WFC Micromaster collection.

 

With any luck Pulse might put it up in a couple months.

 

If they don't restock, I hope they offer it through Hasbro Pulse.
