Oh no, that's terrible. I had the figure for a long time and had no issues with any breakages or anything, super solid. Looks like yours might be an odd one out. Any way you can get a replacement?

 

Spoke with Chosen Prime and they are seeing if the can get replacement. The tab that holds it together is obscenely tight on mine. I was stuck on that part of the transformation and I watched Emgo's JTI video and he just should it pulling apart with ease. I tried to do the same and it just snapped. The other leg was just as tight and though it didn't snap I think I might will done the tab. If all else fails I think I can glue it back together. If anyone has a recommendation for a good glue to use I would appreciate it.

Yeah, that's quite common unfortunately.

 

Is there any way to fix it?

 

I put a tiny amount of superglue on either end of the joint (red dots) and worked the ab crunch back and forward while it dried.



Worked great for me but your mileage may vary.

 

Last time I used glue on a figure it didn't turn out well (Rip maketoys Sonic Drill) so I guess I'll deal with it

 

This has got to be one of the sexiest alt modes of all time. I still obsess over it! Also, I had painted a few of the extra pinstripe areas orange but since it never matched with the original orange of the figure it always bugged me a little. However when looking at reference images I realized that the orange paint I have is actually a closer match to the real car! So I painted over the orange that the figure came with. Haven't done the bot mode orange yet but I might later today. I've also decided to not do the orange pinstripe above the doors. To me it actually looks better without that.

Floor polish. Way less of a chance of accidentally gluing something together and way less residue. Plus you can reapply if it wears off (usually doesn't but sometimes does).

 

Or you can use Pledge (Floor Care Multi-Surface Finish) or clear nail polish as alternatives. I use Pledge when I want to thicken something up just slightly and clear nail polish if something needs a lot more friction.

guys, I know that there are few KOs of this figure, can somebody please make a little guide for me how to understand its OK or not
something like "just look here - it is 100% KO!"

 

The big one for me is the difference between its price point that's how I can tell what's a ko and what's not

 

so, there is logos of these companies on the box, correct?
I mean, if I will receive with DX9 logo - it's DX9?

If it's this box, then it's the real one. The KO has a completely different box.

 

I just realized the the right thigh panel doesn't line up in the vehicle mode no matter how carefully I transform it. Does anyone else have that issue?
