Ya, the fact that they’ll be matching is the big draw here for sure. I have them all in the black color scheme and they’re a ton of fun to swap around. Kinda feel I need the hero color scheme as well though.

Given up trying to keep up with this line, too many repaints. Happy for those that can keep up but I’ve decided da-65 will be my last (unless there is a great robot base and then they’ll suck me right back in!) :lol

Yes, soc and all its glory! Finally released dai from his plastic prison and placed him in a glass one.

Dianaughts are the perfect pilots to me, when i played with micro machines growing up the lil static figures were as articulate as the dianaughts in my minds eye or whatever.

Always love when a dianaught fits in with another line.

Unfortunately, ofcourse Diarugger and Diaclone are not in scale. But cool robots are cool robots!
Enjoyment comes from that of the beholder.

Poor choice of words on my part - I meant that the new version contains all of the original parts and some new ones as a bonus :D

I'm still tempted to pick one up, but it's very expensive lol... even compared to Diaclone :p

    Understood.
One of the big differences here is the price, too. I paid $292 shipped for Gigantor, while the new one is $460 for the set. Are the new parts really worth $168?
Value is subjective, so maybe to many the new paint and parts are worth it over the original.
Moot point either way for me since I've already pre-ordered the new one, so yeah, I see the value. More or less.

I think I may revisit my sense of value when the potentially $3K GRB is ever made.

Really wish my edited guess had been correct but I'm a bit proud (& worried) that I managed to get 74 right on the first guess.

And Gridman-naut plus Powered Grid-Suit are definitely peaking my interest.

Less about money and more of a question of space... that’s a lot of real estate to lay them out... or even to store the boxes

So is DA-40 is actual Dasher for this colour scheme? Getting quite hard/expensive to find...

It's funny, I had just ordered the first Gigantor when they announced the second. I got it in yesterday and tore into it today and it... is.... awesome! It is crazy how much it upgrades the power levels of the Waruda forces! Really makes the Dia-Nauts have a reason to fight. 20210305_201658_HDR~2.jpg

I'm going to need a larger play space for photos...

It is an amazing set, isn’t it?! So many possible configurations, and such a fantastic design with spectacular paint apps.

And one thing that I love about the Diaclone Reboot line in general is the consistent scale and the sense of that scale one gets from the pilot figures. Gigantor would be terrifying to encounter in real life!

I would change one thing with Gigantor... Add some metal so figures can attach...

Okay guys am I insane for wanting a a miniature version of Gigantor around the scale of the Waruder suits? It's just been rattling in my head ever since the Gridman suit "leak" if you will. I just have it in my head that big old Gigantor is like the Godzilla/Space Godzilla(depending on your fancy fandangled fan modding), the raptor is kind of like Baby Godzilla, so why not have a little Godzilla who's basically just a small version of Gigantor with smoother detailing. Like a larval stage if you will.

Initially I didn't think I would get the awesome Battle Convoy due to the higher price, but recently decided to sell a few things on Ebay to get the money for it. I wasn't paying too much attention to the posts about it, but I seem to recall someone saying it was delayed? I see on BBTS it's expected for March. Anyone know if that's accurate?

It was originally set for the first week or March, but now it's the 16th or so.
