Have the prices dropped that much? I've wanted one for awhile now but I was waiting for the price to drop. $170 for the printer plus $20 per filament is a good deal. Any particular printer model I should look out for (also any bad models I shouldn't get)?

I wish, I'd love to do some earth mode fembots in future with them. The real reason video and updates stopped is I think (I dont know but I think) it was the latest elita prototype that got MMC's attention as they contacted me soon after the last update. I reaaaaly wanted to pull out the stops for my first MMC project so they would want me to do more so I put everything else down for a bit. It seemed to work though, and now Ill be getting back into my personal projects alongside MMC stuff

Well, hope we hear from the MMC stuff soon...

And idk... Get them to mass produce this Elita? Heck, they like doing repaint/retools... I can see this bulkier Elita as an easy repaint into Strongarm (PRID).

I second this. I have an Ender 3 and an Ender 3 Pro, and I absolutely adore them. The Ender 3 is a great "starter" printer due to low price, reasonably easy to learn to use, and a really good build volume - it's the biggest bed you can get below $500 USD, I believe. Check Amazon - someone almost always has the Ender 3 listed at a sale price. Alternatively, go to the Creality website and order direct. Oh, and absolutely upgrade to the magnetic bed.

I really do hope this gets made into a figure, whether an MMC release or the print being accessible to the public. It really is the perfect body and altmode for Autobot Commander Elita One!
But out of curiosity, and I seem to be in the minority here in liking it, how would she look with the WFC Trilogy/2019 IDW helmet design?

I'd love to buy this figure in some plastics that I won't worry about breakages with!

even still, if there's no other option, a kit or buyable printformer would be awesome too! especially if I could select a few options like head design or part colors.

and, this could make a good strongarm basis if they added an armory trailer in a more police style

Why the emphasis on the magnetic bed?

I think the magnetic bed just makes parts easier to remove since you can pull it off and bend it. Personally I prefer the glass bed. Nice flat finish on parts and getting a perfectly level surface across the bed is easy. Parts stick to it really well too. I've tried multiple surfaces across different printers and the ender glass bed is by far my favorite.

Have you had any updates on this? I'd love to be able to buy the files and print this, official figures leave a little something to be desired

my only suggestion is maybe you could use the head from the netflix elita-1. that being said, this is absolutely fantastic! a nice rendition of an earth mode elita-1, and this alt mode is kinda fitting for her, and the robot mode looks great! another thing though, maybe there could be a hinge on the cab wings that allows them to flatten out and make a cleaner bot mode. also something weird is that we never really got any g1 earth mode fembots all that much...

this kinda reminds me of how some 3rd party companies treat shockwave, where it's loyal to the source material, but turns into something else

Hope the dude's okay. If I remember correctly, he had a position? in MMC, or something like that. Hope it went well for them. While I'd love to ask "is there an update?" I'd rather ask: are they okay? I can understand constantly designing and printing bits and pieces, let alone a full transforming figure, I assume, can be quite tiring and expensive. So, if they read this: we, at least I, hope you are and have been doing well and hope to see your work again sometime in the future.
