I had the same idea, but Deluxe class non-transformable Pretender shells sold separately. I’m thinking not transforming and being completely hollow would allow for larger shells. I folded up Core Optimus Prime as compact as he could manage, and I think it would work. Later core figures would be designed to fit a shell better.

 

I think the Pretender monster like Skullgrin or Blugeon would be really cool

I love this Starscream. Now it just needs a new Pretender Shell. If Hasbro has no plans maybe a 3rd Party. Probably be the first 3rd Party I'd buy. A line of Voyager or even Leader with a lil less hollow shell with small bots. As long as there is a Starscream I'd be happy. Maybe something to make smaller weaker bots stronger. The Marvel Comics Pretender Starscream was amazing. Bringing him back after being killed after the Underbase saga.

 

Fixed the paint on mine. Looks way freaking better!!!
