Eh. There are better Third Party options. If not that, I could always wait for the KO. Plus, there are no pics of it transformed, we only got pics of the alt-mode. Easy pass.

Are we sure he didn't just mean that this 'model' of a truck was featured in bumbebee? His picture has a visor over the windows, when the movie does not.

it was probably removed for the movie and put back on after shooting for transporting. It’s also been 3 years since it was used for a movie and as stated been stationary for a year so it’s been used for least 2 years for reasons

More cartoony than the Bay semis? This looks downright subtle in comparison to the souped-up AOE truck. I've never seen a truck that looked anything close to that in real life. It looks more like some kind of racing truck than something you'd see on the road. I don't think a red truck with white stripes (I think they're actually light silver) looks that outrageous. Especially in the context of the 1980s, when cab-overs were a lot more common.

Also, I don't think realism should be the standard in a series about cartoon space robots named "Bumblebee" and "Jazz". In real life, Optimus would probably be best off disguising himself as a grey or white semi, since those call less attention to themselves than red. He definitely wouldn't want to cover himself in flame decals and prominently display his insignia on the front. Nor would Bumblebee want to look like a super conspicuous concept Camaro with racing stripes. But the brand isn't about realism, it's about cool designs that sell toys.

First off, your grammar makes me wanna kill myself. Second, do you really think that big trucks with flame decals are realistic? It's just a red truck with a white stripe on it. And in a franchise about space robots that turn into cars, realism doesn't matter.

Sell about 10 or so MP figures and you'd be in the ballpark range for that truck. ;)

I'm sure the folks at Hasbro and EOne have a few extra identical prop vehicles somewhere in use.

    Keep dreaming son.

Hmm. Leads me to believe they're changing how he looks in the next film, or perhaps he won't transform and there's no need for a vehicle on set... Either way, I'm not a fan of this. It kind of sucks if they change him so soon. We barely got any G1 goodness to soak in as it is, on the big screen.

I'm so sick of toys giving him white stripes, when this pic makes it incredibly clear they are silver, like the G1 toy:

(admittedly, it's less obvious in the actual movie, but G1 Prime never had white stripes, so why would white be assumed if unclear?)

Agree 100%. Whenever people bring realism into Transformers aesthetics and go off about things just there for personality, like the characters' inexplicable accents or facial hair, I just think, "who broke you?"

If they really wanted to be inconspicuous, they'd all be Toyota Corollas or something.

Man, who cares about realism. Realism is lame. Embrace the ridiculous, over-the-top anime goodness that is Transformers.
