:D  Yea, definitely a KO. Interesting that some companies KO these old toys and even get sold in Germany.

Btw: Transmutant is available at Amazon.de for 28,99 EUR.

It's already to late for me :lol
Transmutant even made me order a second Paleotrex. I need to make one of these T-Rex skeleton mecha combiners so badly.

    Ebay:
Transformers Generations Selects WFC-GS25 Transmutate, War for Cybertron Deluxe-Klasse Sammelfigur, 14 cm: Amazon.de: Spielzeug
It was still available when I posted my last message. But right now not anymore. I guess some of the others in here took their chance after I posted it :p
Pre-orders are sold out right now but you can still subscribe for e-mail notification as soon as it's available again.
The great thing about Transmutate being a Fossilizer is that it mimics here original release as a BAF.

I don't get why the SS figures are more expensive than the Generations ones.
Deluxes cost almost as much as Voyagers and Voyagers cost about 25 % more.

    Huh?
    - extra engineering
    - extra licencing costs
    - extra real life vehicle accuracy
    - Extra artwork costs
    - extra Extra surface detailing

Do you still not understand why?
Sure the SS86 figures are overpriced pieces of sh.. I had to get Jazz though. But the movie bots. Holy moly. They pack such a high quality punch. It's almost surreal they don't go for more. The generations figures are a joke in comparison

I think I hit a nerve there. No need to fight about it.
I think the current Generations figures have engineering that's about right on with their's.
Extra licensing cost doesn't apply to all of them.
I'd put extra real life vehicle accuracy and extra Extra surface detailing into one pot and compare it primarily with the the SIEGE like which has a shit load of extra Extra surface detailing.
And extra artwork? The backdrops are not that much better printed than the Generations ones. Just a bit thicker and more cardboard material.

That's just my rough language. No worries

I can basically only say that I totally disagree on everything you've just said.

The engineering is nowhere near on par. What they do with the movie guys is crazy. WFC is always the G1 transformation scheme updated. Not much to it

Throwing the vehicle accuracy into one pot with surface detailing to compare it to WFC is just cheating / ignoring an important fact.
    1) WFC surface detailing is random. You could literally run a random code to create the details. Zero effort. Whereas in SS every single nook and cranny has to match the CGI model (that's nuts)
    2) there's a tremendous difference between looking somewhat like a lambo and actually representing one 1:1. If you've ever drawn something you know the difference

They need to pay to use the CGI renders somehow. I lost the source, but it was a trusted board member who mentioned that. I guess they have to pay paramount or something, cos they share rights on those designs
