So I've been talking about this in the Issue #2 discussion thread, but I really like this take on Terrorsaur. He's still not a complex person by any stretch, but he manages to stay distinct from the cartoon version while still being fairly entertaining. Scorponok's still a bit vaguely defined thus far, but I've seen enough of Terrorsaur to understand that he's characterized as a thug who revels in wanton violence and the power that comes with it. Could he still vie for control of the Predacons in this take? Possibly, but I get the impression this Terrorsaur couldn't care less about who's running the show so long as he's got someone he can hurt.

And god dammit this only serves to make me angrier that we're not getting a new Terrorsaur in Kingdom, but hopefully it performs well and we get him later on the same way we got the Horrorcons years after Titans Return.

So Terrorsaur is basically non Texan Quickstrike?

Kinda, yeah. Thus far smarter than Quickstrike, but... not a high bar to clear, frankly.

Have had no luck getting these locally, so my dad (out of state) set up a pull list at a shop near him for them (I think for all the variants too).

Sucks you couldn’t find them locally, but great you can get all the variants, I just resorted to ebay for the 1:10 RI for issue 2. Couldn’t wait :)

I know I keep talking about characters I'd love to see show up in this comic, but you know who I'd love to see get a second go around? The Raptoricons. In no small part due to the fact that Matt Frank's designs for them are dynamite.

(I'm particularly partial to the clunky, Frankensteinian, Classics Grimlock inspired look of Gnash and the fact that her speech pattern was an homage to the OG Dinobots)

Those are so God-damn metal. I'd love a whole TF series in this style.

Ongoing indeed! The fucking Transformers vs G.I.Joe crossover lasted longer than 12 issues! I expected IDW to pull this shit.

Just asked Erik on Twitter. He said nothing is set in stone yet, and not locked in to end at 12 issues... so that’s good at least.

Keep buying all the covers folks, and the TPB if you want more issues!
