I think only Swoop did and then it seems PX kinda lost interest.
I agree with stormflash, the metallic paint on Vulcun is wonderful! But it would probably look out of place if you're planning to complete the full set of PX FoC dinobots.

Ah, that sucks. I guess there probably isn't anything to indicate this Vulcun reissue might heard more in metallic either.

I just saw the PO for the reissue on TFS and I can't decide between the G2 or Hephaestus. Both look great.

Oh wow that is a lot cheaper than TCP and TFS. Thanks for the heads up. I've never ordered anything from a non-U.S. seller. Anything special I need to know about ordering from this site? I've looked at the Buying on TaoBao thread here, and I know sometimes things get sorta complicated.

Baba is a trusted seller. People here can vouch for that. The only downside might be that it will take one month to get the package. But that's still faster than the reissue.

Also he accepts Paypal. You've got 6 months of coverage.

I just messaged him about it. Thanks again for the advice. I have definitely seen his name mentioned as a good seller.

They should have reissued the G2 instead of the Fire version.

Question...does anyone happen to know the size of the screws in the arms? I was able to finally bore out the stripped screw...was able to disassemble the arm and flip the misassembled piece to where it is now corrected. However, I am missing that screw and while inspecting it I just noticed the opposite arm was completely missing every screw in his arm. I am glad BBTS refunded my money on this figure. It's a QC nightmare...I work QC sometimes for my warehouse plant...this would never made it past me. Especially with the stress fractured sword handle. I figure if I can find the right size screw I will just replace them all so they match then it won't bother me as bad. Especially with this basically being a free figure.

The thing is, the red one was a TFCon exclusive as well.

I love this mold but isn't this like the 5th repaint after the original, metallic, G2 and Fireblast? I wish Planet X could instead release some pictures of their IDW Grimlock (Cacus) as well, since it was "supposedly" supposed to get a more thorough reveal last month.

Isn't PX's IDW Grimlock still in the pre-prototype stages? PX isn't really known for their haste regarding any matters :lol

TBH, the decos I'm really looking forwards towards, and I'm truly surprised we haven't seen yet, is the metallic versions of the rest of the dinobots since they've done Vulcun and Caelus metallics. That, and I'd really kill for the metallic G2 of Vulcun.

Actually, when it was first revealed at one of last year's TFCons, it was supposed to have a release date of January 2021.
    https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attachments/6fd4eb62-decf-4df8-8a24-667fb59a7ce0-jpeg.28825629/

They then back tracked and said they would have a prototype reveal in January 2021 instead.

Neither have come to fruition :/

And you're not surprised? Planet X was never a company to do things with haste. COVID put a LOT of damper on all companies and factories. Did you really not expect further delays? I'm not trying to directly defend PX, but I do understand that things are out of anyone's hands regarding scenarios like this.

Those are all good points; I definitely didn't expect them to actually release in January 2021, though since they originally promised that as late as October I was OPTIMISTICALLY thinking this was a figure they had kept under wraps until TFCon that was in the final stages of development. COVID definitely put a damper on many companies' production, but this was a release date made in October 2020, not Octoboer 2019, so I felt that it would have been more accurate. No worries though, as I'm happy to wait for quality. I did naively think they would release some more prototype images in January as they had promised in December, but oh well.
