Been after Starscream reissue for a while to display on the shelf in its box. Received this lovely squashed example today. Sent out in a flimsy cardboard box with no inner padding, bubble wrap etc to protect the toy and box. Not impressed with the retailer...

Also worth noting we don't use bubble wrap as its awful for the environment, everything is paper based so you can recycle it.

 

Hi, Thanks, he is. I will send it back for a refund. I applaud your stance on using only recycled packing but with the outer box being very thin and single walled it was always going to break/crush under a bit of weight. It didn't need to be bubble wrap, that was just my example but it would have made a difference having some sort of inner protection... shredded card etc to buffer any impact during transit. Unfortunately couriers can get rough with parcels and they do stack deliveries. My old man used to be a postie and told me a few horror stories lol.

 

That Kingdom Rodimus thread is really something. The toy cannot possibly be as good as that thread. Paradoxically, it also cannot be as bad as that thread.

Still absolutely loving this photogenic stunner.

 

Whoever packed in the Royal Mail box for courier is a twit! I have sent over a email to warehouse with a bollocking! That should have been a double wall, if you want a mint one they can easily sort it out for you but a refund is no problem either.

 

For those like me waiting on Beast Megs from Kapow: mine is bundled with a Primal, they are waiting for Primal to restock before sending mine out. No word on when they are expecting this restock.

Oh well.

 

I would love to exchange it for a mint one, thank you. That's what I thought, I couldn't understand no inner protection in a single walled box, especially with the packing box much bigger the Transformer box. Having said that I worked 8 year's for a company who distribute toys of a more "adult" nature and these things do happen, we certainly had our moments. So, thank you for dealing with the problem and offering to fix it, ultimately that is all that matters.

I see that ID are starting to see a trickle of Sandstorm's turn up - I might finally get mine and G2 Megs who has been stuck waiting in limbo for his cardboard box buddy to join him.  

 

Gave me a good chuckle after a shit day. Glad I joined these boards.
